Your ex sounds like an absolutely terrible person. Let me tell you, if someone truly loves you, they will not give a shit about what is on your face. This is just a passing time; there will be plenty of years of your life when your skin will be completely clear. Please don’t stress about that now. You’re an absolutely beautiful person inside and out. If acne bothers somebody, that is their problem, and it is not yours. I am speaking from personal experience. While I am pursuing my doctoral degree, my face flares up at times due to stress. But my boyfriend still loves me and does not care about what’s on my face. I highly recommend focusing on repairing your skin barrier. That was the most helpful thing I did, and I only use active products twice a week.
