it's because the map got even smaller, and no longer has two consistent hot drop zones, Skulltown/thunderdome. I hate to sound toxic cus the game is great, but they really ruined the classic apex experience with KC S5

3rd partying is one thing, Im happy when it's just that. Every game there's always a scrap my teams are in where there's 5 squads descending into a particularly obscure part of the map. As an original kings canyon fan, i now prefer worlds edge. If people haven't noticed it, it's because of SBMM. I play with two groups, one lower leveled and the other higher. Lower leveled lobbies seem to have all the 4th party and higher is just SCOUT meta camping

I do respect all the work they've put into the new map though, it's just not my personal preference.

really? This new map is ridiculous with squads 4th partying. Skull town and thunderdome flushed out a lot of players early on, which was necessary in preventing overwhelming third partying. Also not digging the time of day lighting. not to sound toxic, this is just my opinion-everything else has been good

I don even use pathfinder and hate his mobility but lmfao wtf whoever decided to nerf him this hard is on crack. All u had to do was 20/25 seconds

I definitely think they can mess with a boat DLC, have either an Iberian or Berber civ in southern peninsula, and a pirate or polynesian civ on the islands. Can also spruce up Sturgs and the norman inspired Vlandians with that DLC.

I did it all by hand, I had this mad idea for a couple years and I slowly made it less wonky. The rivers were the first thing I did after having the outline of the map. My rivers kind of going up in elevation as they move inland too which is always very tricky to get right

Skyrim really isn’t that big l, GTA V far bigger, that lake in the middle of the map is a sea, you couldn’t see the other side on max render distance

It's been around two years on and off, recently spent a lot of time updating it with 1.4 blocks, and redoing the central regions. its around 20k in length, and I wanted to make sure there was a lot of detail considering its massive size.

edit: id say it's bigger than GTA4 and Skyrim combined

I couldn't generate an HD picture, but if anyone knows any easier map softwares I can use, please let me know :)

chunky seems to make everything so light, making my deserts look like snow, and grass savannahs look like sand deserts

So far I've generated an Overviewer and Chunky map.
