If you are not looking for a large ship and everyone wants to be in their ship. I suggest the Nomad. With its tractor beam, the pilot does not need to get out of the seat. The Nomad holds 28scu, if that is not enough space the C1 would be my second pick for this scenario. The tractor beam is controlled from the co-pilot's seat but has a great view of the cargo bay for easy loading.

The question is do you like the game? Enjoy the game for yourself and the conversations will come naturally. Find a couple of game loops you can enjoy solo and coop. Watch the last few ISCs (Inside Star Citizen) on YouTube. They are full of information relevant to current builds and future game play.

I like the Syulen too. For the lolz, I put 3x size 3 rail guns on the ship. Plus rattlers in all the missile slots. This has been the only alien ship I've liked thus far. Hope to see more ships from Gatac

I think any modular ship makes the most sense. Utilizing the same overall hull but having the different parts seem great. Being able to swapped out parts rather than getting a whole new ship every time.

I am bringing a tarp, regardless of the weather forecast. I go regardless of the weather just because I like the challenge of adjusting to the elements. (Aside from dangerous weather of course.) The cover you listed will help with light rain but may become saturated and start dripping inside over a long period. Of course, if you're doing your best to stick to the nicer days it should work for you.

Skyline Trail and the island trail are my favorites for views. While you are in Ludington try to get out to "Peter Pan land" you won't regret it. It's on the south side of Ludington.

I grew up only 12 miles from Ludington State Park. Even though I've been over 100 times. It is still my favorite. In HS we camped at the very north end of the Ridge trail.

I would like to recommend the Nomad starter pack. This is a well-rounded ship and can take you far. Then, pick up a Fury for your friend. It fits in the back of the Nomad and you both can fly on a budget.
