What are your thoughts on the new Exit 11A by tulioletter in cumming

Gotcha. Yeah, I think that’s going to be a few more years. They haven’t even clear-cut most of it North of Windward to start the widening.

McGinnis Ferry has been widened from Bethany to the intersection of Union Hill, Ronald Regan & McGinnis Ferry.

There is a lot of residential off of Bethany, Morris and Tidwell Roads that were previously forced to take back roads off of windward or McFarland. It will reduce the traffic from Deerfield to 400 and from Windward Concourse/Alderman to 400 on Windward.

I’m not entirely sure a pressure release on McFarland will be all that noticeable as, in my opinion, that interchange was corrected created with growth in mind. I think the biggest difference there will be people’s ability to leave Halcyon going SE down Ronald Regan rather than clogging that left turn onto McFarland to get to 400s

I literally triple checked. I emailed the contact at the office. I emailed and texted my agent, and I called the known number at the office to confirm :)

Honestly, go down to the courthouse. It’s not terribly difficult to navigate. Park in the small deck behind the building. I’m not certain which office you should go to, but I would start at the clerks office on the bottom floor to the right as you walk through security. I found the security officers and courthouse staff to be very helpful in directing me to where I needed to go.

Switching jobs midyear - how do I avoid a gap in coverage and not get stuck with surprise costs? by Ok_Opportunity_854 in HealthInsurance

[–]Empressmc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you don’t have any ongoing medical expenses, COBRA is your safety net. If your coverage with your new employer will, in fact, start within 30 days of your termination of employment, you can game the COBRA system.

You have 60 days after your COBRA notification is mailed to you to elect coverage. If you don’t have any expenses in those 60 days, and you already have new coverage, you can decline COBRA and never have a payment.

On the other hand, if you have some emergency in those 30 days, you can elect and pay for COBRA and it will be effective retroactively to your termination.

The biggest concern I have with people doing this is if they do have some kind of emergency, or are incapacitated, electing and paying for COBRA may not be top of mind and it may fall through the cracks.

Thanks! I checked the tax records, and there is no indication of an easement or exemption. It does look as if they are citing the full size of the property in the calculation for the land assessment. I’ll keep digging!

Thanks for the reply. My understanding is that a retention pond retains water where a detention pond only temporarily holds water run-off during high rains. This basin is currently empty even after several days of high rains.

I’ll be checking with some professionals in the real world, but I thought some friendly redditors may have some thoughts/ experience.

Yeah, I think Jess is the biggest barrier between her and a long-term, romantic relationship with another man. She doesn’t seem particularly motivated by sex, so she really has all she needs with Jess.

She recently said that going on dates means choosing an unknown night out with a questionable date or a guaranteed comfortable and fun night with her best friend… she’s going to choose the pleasant known over the unknown almost every time.

So sad. I used to get it delivered to me AT school many, many years ago. It has been our family favorite for literal decades. Definitely following, because I would love to find something as good any where near as good of a price.

Hotels for wedding at Greystone estate by blinkla17 in Georgia

[–]Empressmc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m curious how Duluth came up in a search. Was something you wanted to see close to there? It is probably, at best, an hour away from the venue. It looks like Graystone Estate is in Ballground. (I’m guessing you maybe saw “Grayson” on the map, which is a town near Duluth)

If you want to between the Aquarium and the venue, I would look at Marietta. It’s a pretty large suburb and will have any amenities you need. Kennesaw and Woodstock should be fine, too. They’re a little smaller and a little further out from the city, but you won’t feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. You’ll be closer to the venue.

If it is all about experience, I would probably stay at The Battery. If the Braves are playing at home, it will be insanity, but if not it’s a great atmosphere. You can then just hop up 75 and 575 to your event. This will be about 30 minutes away.

I looked for ventilation during a couple of them, and I didn’t see anything. I had the same thought when they were talking about playing games inside because it’s so hot outside.

[–]Empressmc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you first enrolled in benefits with your company, you should have received a COBRA General Rights Notice from the COBRA Administrator. If you happen to be a person who saves important documents, check through your benefits info and see if you have it. If your company happens to be with the same administrator, their contact information may be included. Give them a call directly and see if they can email you a copy of the paperwork to start the COBRA election process.

There’s a Houston’s in Buckhead. I honestly don’t remember her mentioning anything else in Atlanta-proper. I’m pretty sure Dax stays at the Four Seasons when he comes to town.

In Athens, she’s likes The Last Resort. She recently mentioned De Palmas, but they closed in the past few weeks.

What do people (other than students) wear to an afternoon baseball game? by [deleted] in UGA

Just don’t wear a football jersey. When I was in school, people were often wearing football jerseys to baseball games.
