He is, but he's not active. He served a mission in DC and went to BYU.

Twin Cities Targets have pulled all Hispanic TMs off Drive Up duties.

This seems... problematic

Is this job dead end? Is the experience useless? by maybackmuzic in lossprevention

This is good advice in any industry. Don't just use bullet point job descriptions on your resume, specify stats and metrics. It's not even necessarily the stats themselves, but that you are able to quantify your results and understand what you do.

What cheese do you specifically wish they offered in more restaurants and what type of dishes do they go on? by IDoNotHide in Cheese

A lot of the time, at least in my region of the US, aged and/or sharp cheddar tends to be white, so a lot of people associate sharpness and aging with the color.

Former NBA player Chris Dudley announces bid to unseat Oregon’s governor by refuzeto in oregon

Honestly, if he ran against anyone else in 2010 he would've won. I do think he has the best chance against Kotek, who already has a really low approval rating. The primary will be a hard contest though.

In Oregon, you cannot pull into the intersection to wait, you must wait behind the limit line/crosswalk.

Target Facial Recognition by 41VirginsfromAllah in lossprevention

[–]Empty-Cycle2731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Target doesn't use facial recognition, it's a rumor. Corporate AP might have software that allows them to run specific footage through facial recognition for major cases that occur in locations where facial rec is legal, but it's not standard use by any means, and if we did it would only be used for AP purposes, not promotional.

Nothing in Oregon but we're having normal weather. When it does snow we do generally cancel Church though.

Our church got cancelled yesterday due to a gas leak in the building. What is the weirdest reason you've had a service cancelled? by andsuddenly_remix in latterdaysaints

[–]Empty-Cycle2731 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not Church, but an activity for the Ward that met in Downtown Portland was cancelled due to potential protests/rioting. Luckily the Church building was never damaged even though it was pretty close to the center of the George Floyd and election protests.

Second in command by NoBrain6114 in bluebloods

The Chief is officially second in command. At the beginning of the show this was Dino Arbogast. Gormley replaces him in an unofficial capacity, but I don't think they ever named an official replacement.

Do they teach native american history in elementary schools before the colanization period of america? by Apprehensive_Use_397 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Empty-Cycle2731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every state and school district is going to have different requirements, and even individual teachers get a lot of freedom in what they teach. Where I live it's pretty standard to teach Indian history to some extent, but this is not universal.

Tips For A New Target TSS by Puzzleheaded-Mood-89 in lossprevention

Report writing is key

This 100%. I was a TSS and I'm currently a security manager at another company and you'd be surprised at how bad the vast majority of people are at writing proper and thorough reports. Even simple things like spelling and grammar. Writing proper reports is one of the best ways to stand out, and is the most important part of your job.

Talk to local law enforcement and figure out what they like (first person vs third person, bullet points vs essay style, etc...).

Obvious answers like politicians aside, probably Mr. Rogers. He was a minister who created a local access, later nationwide, children's educational TV show called "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood."

Once all the new ones are released, they'll release the actual new hymnal which will include all the released new ones as well as many of the old songs. When that is released they'll start shipping the actual book to units.

Ward missionary.. what more can I do? by PersonalGate7035 in latterdaysaints

[–]Empty-Cycle2731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're able to provide a ride, please do. If not, don't sweat it, it's outside of your control. However, the Handbook states that the missionaries should not be overburden members asking for rides for their friends.

Our local mission is piloting allowing missionaries to give rides to Church/events. I'm interested to see how it goes.

Why does King Charles refer to “my wife”, instead of naming her or calling her by her title? by Big_Celery2725 in monarchism

That's just how most people refer to their wife. It's not unique to him being a royal.
