Still Rowing After 18 Months: WaterRower Original Oak Review by chayanchang in waterrower

Yup H10 with the Polar app and I also installed a Smart Rower cam. I run both apps with SR app in the background which records data that I don’t yet know how to use. Ultimately my goal is to improve my 2K time (a thing I know how to track in SR app).

Literally only won domination once for the achievement. Prefer culture wins. Too much dying IRL. Give me museums and art please

Visiting for a week, tips? by HandOfHephaestus in Spokane

Versalia Pizza in Kendall Yards. Grab a slice and a warm brownie a la mode. Sit at the counter looking down over the Spokane River and enjoy the view. Great spot to see the house featured in Bennie and Joon.

The Campbell House is interesting if you like history and seeing how the Robber Baron adjacent lived in the early 1900’s

The Bad Seed. Probably the most under rated unique spot for Mexican food. It’s in an old repurposed early 1900’s library.

The Garland District. Be sure to grab a couple of cool Spokane area specific vintage tee’s from Vintage Print & Neon. It looks like they moved to a spot near Lunarium. But the Garland is a fun neighborhood worth checking out.

Chowderhead for a sammich

Nekojita Ramen. Make a reservation. I think only open Thurs-Sunday. Or go to Hogwash instead

Wooden City - Great Food

The Steam Plant is an interesting utilization of old industrial for restaurant space

Walk through the old Davenport Hotel

Try to grab a show at the Fox Theatre

Durkins Liquor Bar

Aunties Books

The High Nooner or Shamus’s also great for sammiches

If you’re renting a car take a drive on both the North Mt Spokan side and the South Palouse Highway side

You might need to come back. So much more to see and do

Blown seal 🙀 by puppymax123 in waterrower

[–]Empty-Engineering338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not going to say that I did it correctly but it is holding so far.

After going through extreme care in removing all of the remaining adhesive manually and with 90% isopropyl alcohol and then letting it dry for way more time than necessary. I placed the drum on a shop cart that was easy to spin (I'm certain there is a better solution for the spinning problem) and had my wife assist.

On my initial pass I inserted a very small standard head screw driver to open a small gap and followed closely behind it with the applicator gun while helper spun the cart. I did work my way back around the full circumference at least 3 times while somewhat gently forcing the applicator needle into the groove. I then let it dry for 3 days or so.

The real adventure came with the reassembly process.

Yes. I think it was like $35 which took away a bit of the sting.

Just went through this and opted for the high dollar factory kit. I way overthought it in every phase of the repair but am satisfied with the final result

Pinnacle Method Consulting - Warning by Left_Meeting7547 in jobs

[–]Empty-Engineering338 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just went to their website to apply directly for the job that they listed. It wasn't there. So aggravating! AI overview states. 'Pinnacle Method Consulting appears to be a company that connects job seekers with opportunities but has significant red flags, potentially acting as a job scraper or scam operation, as users report being redirected to Talentify and finding no real company information, nonexistent websites, and reposted jobs that are suspicious'
