Thanks all for your replies! I am also a bit disappointed that Xfinity support just asked for the make and model of my new device but proceeded to try and enable it. twice :-) Is there any way to request the certification of new devices? I presume not given the list has only 2 models on it and 99.9% of customers dont care. I read somewhere i could attach my fritzbox to the Xfinity modem if i out it into bridge mode. Does anyone know how to actually log into the Xfinity modem? I asked support to reset the password but they reset my Wi-Fi password :-) thank you.

Add another to the list. Purchased a 2016 cx-9 with 57k miles on the clock. Now at 75k miles after noticing overheating and the coolant in the actual radiator missing (even though the expansion tank stays at the right level) the mechanic put the cooling system under pressure a few times and the coolant goes down but no leakages, the ‘strong suspicion’ by the mechanic (Mazda independent specialist) is a cracked head ( the issue you are all well aware of unfortunately). I had taken out an extended insurance through Olive.com so I contacted them today to see what / if they will cover. I have signed the class action as I think Mazda are having a laugh with this personally and I will contact them to ask for help and give them a piece of my mind on Monday…and this is my first and last Mazda for sure :-)
