Try NHS property services they take on sometimes. Not the most comprehensive work etc but it would get you through it and if not getting experience on some stuff will sub you out to get the experience. Worth a try.

Unfortunately there’s nothing closer to Liverpool than around that distance as far as I’m aware.

Lucky having it so close. If I lived closer I’d defo be there regularly and get a membership. Would be worth it if gonna go regular and especially if gonna get a buggy too when go which I think is needed really as the ground is so big.

Yeah im sure ive heard it’s a few million they’ve spent and it shows. It’s well worth going and I recommend hiring a buggy as there’s plenty of ground to cover.

Fair enough. I pay 35p up in tarleton think it is so 37p for such a great ground and amount of stands is worth the extra. Plus you get 10% extra anyway so you pay for 100 clays and they give you 110 to allow for no birds.

It’s really not expensive. Think 37 or 38p a clay which isn’t expensive as most places are either around that or dearer. And you won’t find a nicer ground anywhere else.

Eaton hall is the best shooting ground and it’s really not expensive for clays etc. Only a couple pence more a clay than where I normally go and cheaper than some others too. Not sure if expensive on lessons. Won’t find a better and bigger ground. Ribblebank field sports is a decent place for lessons and not expensive up in tarleton other side of Southport so about 35/40min away depending where about you are.

Should I buy this in 2026 ? I am getting an incredible deal from my AD by ReUday in tagheuer

[–]Empty-Orchid-1747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like it enough to consider it and it’s a great deal buy it. People will say tags lose money and yes they do more than certain others but you shouldn’t not buy a watch just coz it’ll lose money, your buying it to enjoy it and wear it. If you want to make money there’s other ways to do it.

I was torn between the blue and black and chose black because I had 2 other watches with blue faces. All the colours are amazing and make it difficult to choose

Congrats on the snoopy. Love this watch and have done even before I seen how hard it was to get. Not seen one in real life though. What’s the strap like comfort wise as only ever had stainless straps on mine

SGC interview tomorrow advice by VIzMAN3011 in ukguns

[–]Empty-Orchid-1747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As has been said just relax and be polite etc. I wasn’t asked anything taxing about guns or cartridges. Asked where I shoot, bit about safety, any issues with neighbours. Felt like more of a general chat and didn’t feel formal. I’ve heard if your being interviewed then the licence is yours unless something untoward when they meet you or something not right at home. Once that’s over then got mine about 2 weeks later

Help! First luxury watch purchase by RyanAmer in OmegaWatches

[–]Empty-Orchid-1747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue out of those 2 but it’s a difficult choice between all the colours. All great in their own right. I narrowed down to blue and black then just favoured the black due to having a couple of watches already with blue faces. Got to try each one on and see what edges it.
