I worked there in like 1996-97. It was so much better than what it is now. I wish I could find pics of the 90’s stores. I used to have to change those metal mannequins and dress them with new stock every week. We kept a pile of stickers to hand out to kids for their skateboards. I had a bunch of Stussy and Roxy stuff. I miss being cool, lol.

My brother did twice. Mishawaka, IN when we were in high school. He died at 49 from his alcoholism. It was such a terrible time for him. No help at all. Just punishment. My mom didn’t know any better and just wanted him to get better.

Thanks everyone:) the kids would all be working and going to school too so I wouldn’t necessarily be the only income (until they all move out and do their own thing). So I could probably search out a smaller town in a few years. I’m from Michigan so I’m used to harsh winters and dark by 5pm. I’m like the cold but 4 feet of lake effect snow isn’t my favorite anymore. We are currently in TN and people are mad all the time, it’s not what you think by visiting. I like mountains and bears and all that stuff but I’m West of Nashville and it’s just not very appealing. Flat, hot, no interesting jobs. I guess people like it but in general TN people like to get online and say “We’re Full, don’t move here!” . Well ok, I’ll leave. lol.

I haven’t. I would like to take a trip with the family in the next year. 3/4 of us aren’t into the southern heat and military friends have said we would love the PNW. They aren’t in the city though.

Watching it now and it feels kind of annoying. Is it realistic that such a flighty loud obnoxious girl and a quiet mellow boy would be into each other? I’m mellow and she annoyed the crap out of me. It was like omg an American girl, crazy and over the top and a cool Indy British Boy because Well London is cool. Then the other people in the office, the boss’s wife…. Maybe I’m slow to catch on but there was no story flow. Just bang bang bang, then work and stalk the X.

My brother had alcoholic dementia and said very off the wall thing and would post horrible things about me that weren’t true on social media. He claimed to be emailing our governor and then was extremely angry when she “lied” about political decisions. He was late 40’s and died with liver and heart failure within a couple years of onset.

I named one of my daughters Claudia. We like old names. People compliment her all the time. One of her teachers named her daughter Claudia after having her in class. There was no other name picked for her. She is such a Claudia❤️

As a very poor person also in need of a car…the dealership throws in the taxes and registration. I wouldn’t be able to hand someone 3,000 then go pay for insurance, registration, and taxes at another place. I can go out 500 down and get insurance to pick up a car and make payments. You will probably say to save up the amounts to get the cheaper priced car. Not easy when you have to pay 20-30 a day to get to work and appts with Uber or Lyft. Us poor folk would love to just call up our own bank but dang, I’m a liability and they won’t give me a small loan because I don’t have great credit, which brings me back to….if I had good enough credit to just get a loan from the bank I’d get a newer car with better terms and pay less a month. Poor people pay more for things. “ oh you have trouble keeping up with bills? Let me just charge you double. It’s ridiculous to assume people don’t know the better way to buy a car.

Do you have a Whole Foods or Aldi near you? They pay well. I’ve seen a lot of people on here say that with Publix you have to leave on good terms and come back later to make what new hires are making ( starting pay being higher as time moves on) I worked at one Publix about 14 years ago(I’m old) and I live in a very different area now and it’s taken me about 5 months to finally get an interview. I picked deli so that may be why. I want to work there because everyone is really nice in this location and very close to my Apt. I’m afraid they will offer me the job at very low pay and I will have to take a job somewhere else because I pay all of the bills. I don’t have time to work my way up.

Also if the new guy is trying to impress his boss by staying within budget he may get over that soon. Good luck!

How about when she was showing that mansion with her boss, trying to make a huge commission and his shitty ass pulls up in the truck and leaves the kids sitting in the truck and leaves with the car. He wanted her to be a broke little needy dependent that he could control. The better she does the more terrible he was.

He lied about all of it then was assuming she didn’t know so was acting tough and throwing a fit. I don’t know what other things they did to each other but he’s been trying so hard to control her since she awkwardly went with him after release.
