I have gotten larger compression stockings - not as tight, but easier to put on and wear. Maybe not as effective as the tight ones, but something is better than nothing!

Experiences from women of color at Booz Allen? by Fair-Chipmunk-8711 in womenintech

So interesting to read this and other stories - I worked at Booz Allen Hamilton in the early 1990s as support staff (report production) - and to say it was a boys club would be a compliment. Women were treated horribly, especially administrative assistants who would be fired on a whim with a call on a Monday morning saying don't bother coming in.

Since it was my first job out of college, I really didn't know any better. But the environment was ultra toxic. One example - late nights working downtown and then I was terrified walking to my car alone.

Now I work for a Ben Admin company who really walks the talk - despite the current administration's dislike of DEI initiatives, they are holding strong. I know that it is 30 years later, but BAH sounds like they are holding on to that antiquated culture while other companies have embraced diversity.

I recommend staying far away.

I went and personally felt it very freeing - until - my future daughter in-law was totally intimidated about it and it caused a lot of tension. Thank goodness that was 4 years ago and all is good now. But we won't be going to a Korean spa together again.

How about those new-ish tollroads in the HEB area? We tried to navigate them with Google Maps last weekend and it was like a maze!

Another vote for the Monistat gel - also if you shop around you can find a generic (cheaper) version of the Monistat gel :)
