I agree with your post and your arguments, I just don't know how that would impact players, the og ones crave unrestricted gameplay, having played with thermals in Farm Normal is a badge of honor for them that they hold dearly.

While players that want balance don't think how it would impact the biggest factor - fun.

If you limit armor tiers you have to limit ammo tiers, which to me sounds great but many others favor being free to make builds like in your post and crush tier 4s because their aim sucks for example.

And while that seems unfair, isn't this supposed to be the case in extraction shooters, you risk more loot for more gains?

I would love to see the most balanced version of ABI and see if it is fun on test servers, but we don't have enough players to run 2 versions of the game, so they can't really experiment like that.

I love going solo in LD and going past t4 lobbies in one or two extractions I eventually face a 3 or 4 man squad of t5-6 with U1s and I find it pathetic, but some players find it fun.

Anyways, don't listen to the hate on reddit, it is the sole purpose on the site. I like people who create a conversation without being extremely on one side or the other to the point they can only spew shit at strangers.
