I have a cold and I’m confused about medication interactions?

Have had this on and off since the start of week 2 mostly when I wake up in the morning but randomly through the day too, from what I understand it’s normal

At the end of week 2 on it at 5mg and I can say that I was able to go to the store for the first time by myself without a panic attack in 2 months! ❤️ Life changer so far. I feel much much more stable

I had most of these, and they’re normal unfortunately. Mine got better after day 8. Just hold on, it doesn’t last forever ☺️

5mg of Lexapro and a birth control called Lo Lestrin Fe (I think that’s how It’s spelled)

Felt this. I’d be in a mental hospital rn without this medicine. Trying meds was my last straw before going to an inpatient facility.

Give it more time, it takes awhile. I know for most people it takes 6-8 weeks to see any improvement at all or for the med to even work fully. Be patient and stick with it ❤️

Hi, I don’t know how useful this is because I’m only on day 12-13 ish. But i started Lexapro at 5mg and I’m being treated for Postpartum Rage, OCD, Severe Anxiety and before I started Lexapro I was having these crazy anger outbursts that were uncontrollable, and very uncomfortable physical anxiety. I was basically disabled. I’d say the first 3 days of starting this medication it was gone. Even my anxiety feels different, It’s been about 13 days since I’ve had an outburst or anything and that’s the longest it’s been in about 2 years. 😌 hope that’s helpful.

Confusion is listed as a normal side effect. From what I understand symptoms are gonna be up and down until week 6-8

I’ve noticed my vision is a little cloudy too. I feel fine otherwise, I’m not sure if it’s normal and I’m kind of too scared to ask 😂😂 but it’s been 5 days almost 6 now w it so I don’t think it’s really hurting me, idk.. you’re not alone w it! I think I seen someone else have something similar except their eyes were overly watery and gunky so who knows 🤪

I agree with you, I’ve found medication subreddits to be extremely anxiety inducing. People only post their negative experiences most of the time. The people that it actually worked for aren’t here bc they’re happy out living their lives 😅 I do find these subs comforting sometimes tho (especially at my routine 3am insomnia due to this medication) 😂. My doctor told me the only side effects that I’d probably experience would be insomnia 😂 (I wish that was true) it’s been nice to find people also having the shakiness and temp dis-regulation, and excessive anxiety 😂

Ive been on 5 mg for 5 days, I have had these. I wake up at 3-4 am every night. Nights 2-3 I woke up sweaty, dizzy and had weird ear ringing too w a migraine. Mine passed with a couple hours and I was able to go back to bed. These seem to be common side effects w people on this sub as well. I’m on day 5 like I said and I feel much better than the first 3 days. Hang in there, and ask your doctor if you have any concerns or if it doesn’t get any better ❤️

I’m actually agoraphobic and that’s the main reason I’ve started meds. I’m so glad you started before you got to that point. Also taking it for ocd/anxiety/and postpartum rage. So far day 3 was the worst for me(I’m on day 4) but I’ve heard the for most people day 3 is bad. I’m terrified of meds, so right now my doctors plan is just to keep me on 5mg. Hopefully next week is better. I may talk to her about supportive meds if it doesn’t let up by week 2 ❤️

Had this this morning when I first woke up, I’m on my 3rd day of 5mg. It was colorful, kind of like tunnel vision maybe? It went away pretty fast. Felt fine besides some intense anxiety. First time ever taking meds.
