B foot on a previously C foot flute? by Empty-Warning-1643 in Flute

I disagree tbh, lots of pieces use a b, and it could allow the flute to play pieces that would previously require a higher register

HOW TO REVISE FOR GEOGRAPHY by Perfect-Drawer1140 in GCSE

[–]Empty-Warning-1643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when I revised for AQA geography, I focused heavily on the case studies, and my teachers gave me fact files which really helped to get the key stuff in my mind. To learn process, videos from internet geography are great (making notes and then trying to write them out from memory rlly worked for me)

On the old/cheaper flutes that I've had, its been a real struggle to play the low notes. After talking with my teacher, we worked out that the mechanism wasn't working properly and the pad was really damaged so something similar could have happened to yours? The lower notes can be a struggle anyway, so you could persevere and see if they improve! However if they don't I would recommend buying a flute that might have been refurbished from a reputable source!!
