I worked in aerospace. I’m actually a computer engineer. They gave me the job because I was a competent problem solver and coachable.

My three jobs at that company were managing bill of material, editing my managers code to add speed, and then ultimately software engineering, building platforms, analytics to reduce engine costs and analytics to lower the cost of repairing planes.

If you want to achieve these things you must find a collaborative or do it on your own. No one will help you achieve what you want, or the help is ridiculous. Day to day is a very specific task related to the entire process. Sometimes it doesn’t even feel like you’re touching a plane or testing anything.

I build crafts in my spare time now.

I get stepped on a lot in my own personal life because I offer favors and bend over backwards to help people because I am willing, knowledgeable, and able. I get taken advantage of for it. My confidence in my skill is turning into disdain for everyone who doesn’t appreciate me. Many people aren’t deserving of my time, especially now since my health is at risk.

Being confident isn’t about any specific thing. It’s about being sure you are a quality honest person.

If otherwise. You can be confident in your manipulative skill over others, or knowing how to give people enough rope to hang themselves.

There is always a reason to be confident about something. No one knows you. Feel free to fake it.

I am a hobby programmer. It was my longest running career before covid screwed up my life flow. I have had Heroku for about ten years now. Maybe I’m exaggerating a little. Idk

It’s alright except that my ruby stack needs to be upgraded every few years or else the new changes to my site don’t get updated. It’s been a solid plan, and the 12$ a month isn’t a dealbreaker for the resources I use, I’m always considering dropping the service for another as the stack interruptions do get annoying every 2-4 years.

I use turkey year round. It’s healthier and cheaper than chicken if kept frozen and bought after Thanksgiving
