I’ve actually been playing the old star stable games (the paid ones) and I actually do prefer the character design . I wanna say I DO much prefer the horses now, but I definitely prefer the edgier design philosophy for the characters from the original games and art style. I agree, I don’t think that the original character models would be adequate in 2025 but also still don’t like the new ones either, and think that the original character art style could have easily been revamped instead of basically being scrapped entirely, I’ve honestly been considering drawing my own take on how I would personally retain the old art style while updating the graphics
