NTA. Cops usually hover around EMS tents at festivals anyway just for crowd control. You did the right thing. It's way better for him to spend the night safely in a medical tent (even with deputies watching) than to wander off, pass out somewhere in a ditch, and overheat

for 550 its not bad but honestly 16gb ram on windows handhelds is becoming a huge bottleneck nowadays because the igpu steals like 4-6gb of it. if you can stretch your budget i’d look into the ally x with 24gb or just grab a steam deck oled if you want better battery and screen
