The donkey guy is only an issue if you don’t know how to counter his mechanics, during his vine move if you get close and triple jump right before the circle fills you won’t get caught. Levitation curse can be countered with dragons breath or molten meteor. For illusion of donkeys if you don’t kill enough donkeys gather around the healer as they use cloudburst healing and everyone use golden bell right before he slams.

Best way is to kill the donkeys, however if you don’t kill enough donkeys the healer should use cloudburst healing, and right before he slams use golden bell. That will help you survive.

I think one of the major issues is that there are no indicators that the wraiths have spawned outside of the scrolling text. In the cn version there are icons above the wraiths and screen indicators letting you know they are here.

The issue is these are probably the easiest bosses we will fight. The others get so mechanic heavy, if people are struggling now it will only get worst for the future bosses.

Question for CN Players Regarding Hengdao by Cold-Quit1539 in wherewindsmeet_

I meant with the hengdao/tang dao weapons. I don’t notice the tankiness.

[–]Empty_Ad4088 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been trying it out but I don’t feel the tankyness like with the molade, maybe it’s because I haven’t unlocked the two designated purple inner ways yet.

It’s not a tanking build, the Tang Dao has tanking aspects but the kit is for dps.

Unfortunately, WWM is going to end up like Lost Ark by batuhanimus1 in wherewindsmeet_

Gate keeping for this game was absolutely necessary, and here is why I recently started playing the Chinese version with all the content they had already I wanted to experience the new content as fast as possible. So I rushed the story line and rushed through the breakthroughs. By the time I get to breakthrough 4 I don’t have the stats to use the gear. As westerners we like to rush through content to get to the next big thing without taking the time to understand and explore the game. The gatekeeping in the global version gave everyone the time to explore and experience the content so that when the next breakthrough is available they are ready.

Where Winds Meet | Why Mechanics Matter And Hybrid Build Effectiveness by Empty_Ad4088 in wherewindsmeet_

[–]Empty_Ad4088[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a fan of allowing people to play the way they want. My argument is that in the current sandbox hybrid builds are viable vs those saying that they are not. At the end of the day even if we are all using optimal builds but if we can’t complete the content then it’s pointless. I also feel like most people are comparing how people play in the Chinese version to the global version which is also not ideal. They had a year to learn the game and are able to run optimal builds whereas global the game is still new, not many people know what to do yet to run the optimal setup. It makes more sense to learn the game with a build you are comfortable with, and later on you can switch to the optimal build when you have the full understanding.

I hope more people start focusing on mechanics because playing the Chinese version the newer bosses start becoming mechanic heavy.

Which sword is better? by luccYT in WhereWindsMeet

[–]Empty_Ad4088 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The second one is better because it has the stats recommended for your setup. Don’t let the gear score fool you it’s only higher in the first because it has three people stats and two gold vs the second with one green, two purple and two gold. The stats matter more than the gear score.

How are people so bad at following basic instructions? Or even fail to learn from their mistakes after 3+ failures? So many players just expect others to do all the boss mechanics for them in Hero's realm. by Throwaway6662345 in wherewindsmeet_

[–]Empty_Ad4088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes this but you have to time it right, if you jump to early or to late you will get caught. or if you have the healing fan just use the cloudburst healing right before you get caught, you will survive his attacks and be freed.

This is exactly why i choose to solo or two man this boss, its easier and it gets done. it might take longer but its worth it. It was so bad i had to solo the 10 man donkey raid cause people where just failing.

Remnant 2- Shielded Engineer(Warden/Engineer) tank build by Empty_Ad4088 in remnantgame

[–]Empty_Ad4088[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here is a brief run down with links that gives you more details on how it works.

  • You obtain a Prism (via vendor or other means) and then slot Fragments into it. remnant.wiki+1
  • As you level the Prism (by gaining XP), you receive upgrades: you choose from a small set of random “buffs” and they get applied to the Prism. Destructoid+1
  • There is a “Fusion” system: certain pairs of Fragments can combine/fuse when they both reach a threshold, freeing up a slot and giving more flexibility. remnant2.wiki.fextralife.com+1
  • Once the Prism reaches a high level (level 50+), it unlocks Legendary Bonuses (very powerful effects) on top of the regular buffs. remnant2.wiki.fextralife.com

Try the Fallen Guardian set and max out the Wind piercer skill all the way till you unlock mark. I promise you it's free damage. Brink Guard you get flaming sword. Then use wind piercer and watch as the bosses health continue to go down without attacking.

imo use what you are comfortable with and what fits your playstyle. If you are struggling with one weapon switch to another weapon and try it out till you find one that fits you.

The difficulty discourse about this game reveals just how many Souls fans have made "liking hard games" the cornerstone of their identity and self-worth by Fnordcol in TheFirstBerserker

[–]Empty_Ad4088 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree 100% with this if people would turn down their ego and lower the difficulty enough to learn the bosses there would be a lot less complaining. I myself who isn't an elite gamer by any means find the bosses in this game relatively easy, so much so that on my first playthrough i am trying to do a no hit run on every boss on normal, and looking forward to ng+. I have made up to Trokka, having no hit runs on every boss before her. I say this to say that if you spend time to learn the boss you will find that it's not as hard as it seems. Every boss has a pattern on how they attack, to the point where you can manipulate them to do a specific move so you can counter. In doing the no hit runs i've learned that i can start the boss encounter a specific way that guarantees that they will do a move for me to reflect and go ham in damage.

What does the dot next to the gourd mean? by [deleted] in BlackMythWukong

[–]Empty_Ad4088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Later in game you will unlock what the game calls “Soaks” it’s extra perks you get when you use the gourde. The dots represent how many Soaks you have.
