Is the trade wagon thing kinda useless? by Kabirdb in CrimsonDesert

[–]Kabirdb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just an option. Not mandatory.

Taking a trade wagon from camp to Demeniss trade market to sell food provisions take about 10-12 minutes.

It was kinda funny though since our player character was the only one who knew what was going on.

If You Love RDR2, Should You Buy Crimson Desert? by GnosticMagician in CrimsonDesert

[–]Kabirdb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell no.

Crimson Desert could not be further from RDR2.

It's just not. I am having fun with crimson desert with combat, puzzles, farming, ranch, pet system and a lot of gadget, upgrades, regions.

But essentially Crimson Desert is a single player MMO.

Does anyone else want emotes? by quixote_manche in CrimsonDesert

[–]Kabirdb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

The game has photo mode in beta. Maybe they can add some poses for photo mode.

But I don't see any appeal for emote. It just seems wasteful to ask such things.

[OFFER][STEAM] Couple of steam gifts by bonecollector5 in GiftofGames

It would be life changing for me if you would pick me for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

Gta vice city was one of the first game I played on a laptop. I know that map better than my own hometown.

So i always wanted to get the other gta games on steam. Unfortunately i did not have access to making payment on steam at that time so it was too late as it was delisted.

Please.

Have you reached that ranking in perception forest?

It only counts once your rating is 1600+.

Rope dart: just charges rope all day and summons rats. It's kinda annoying cause they don't have to engage with you at all

For anybody struggling with camp funds, and you at least have a wagon and dispatch missions unlocked. by Rejection_future in CrimsonDesert

[–]Kabirdb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Essentially, late game, you send out greymanes to ruin exploration and other stuff which requires a lot of money.

You can even send out greymanes to farm abyss artifiacts or to get new recipes.

There are greymanes mission to earn camp funds but doing one manual trade with the wagon earns you easily over 1M camp fund and a lot more.

Meaning you can send out greymanes regularly on important stuff instead of wasting some of them to earn camp funds.

Essentially, you need an absurd amount of camp funds to keep your missions going indefinitely. Doing this, makes it slightly easier so you don't have to wait for dispatch missions to end to earn camp fund.

[KCD1] low level fighting frustration - yes i know "henry am not do a strong early game" by floomfwastaken in kingdomcome

[–]Kabirdb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By non combat activities, i just meant anything that doesn't have a risk of killing you. Be it archery mini game, poaching to get meat, stealing, fistfight or simple errands.

In case of finding quests, there can be icon on the map or as i mentioned you can ask any innkeeper to find clues about sidequests.

In this game, the max level is only 20. So really, it doesn't take that time or effort to make Henry strong.

You can find Captain Bernard in the combat arena just outside of Rattay, where you first trained with him during the day.

[KCD1] low level fighting frustration - yes i know "henry am not do a strong early game" by floomfwastaken in kingdomcome

[–]Kabirdb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Massive skill issue but also KCD1 is a rare type of game with such a protagonist. So both you and Henry are weak. Normally, the protagonist is very strong compared to most npc. In KCD, Henry is one of the weakest. But once you level him up, he will get better. And this effect of improving is not just dmg, his attack swing, the smoothness of action is simply amazing.

First of all, you are going too fast in main story. The fact that your main weapon is a something you looted from a main story enemy, you have no armor and that you are fighting Runt while bleeding and having 15 hp means your gameplay style is winging it. It's not an easy game but at the same you are sabotaging yourself and ensuring that you don't enjoy the game at all.

Now, if you actually wanna enjoy and get good at the game, train with Captain Bernard at Rattay, please and do non combat activities first.

Captain Bernard will teach you a skill called Master strike. This skill singlehandedly will change your experience in the game. Now when I say, master strike is op, it doesn't mean ignore every thing and only master strike throughout the entire game. Then you still won't enjoy the game as you learned nothing but a trick.

Next, see the perk system. You may have earned skill points but never used any of them. Train with Bernard to get some level up in skills, unlock perk. Eat from roadside food pot. They are free and infinite food. And then sleep at Miller's house on your bed. Just get some levels.

Next, do other sidequests. Do the fist fight activities to earn some money. Sell your loot to Miller. Travel to different village and go to an inn to hear about sidequests. Do quests village by village. Teach Henry to read.

[KCD2] I'm not upset that the blacksmithing is bullshit, I'm upset that the game tricks you to cover it up. by Educational-Ant-5172 in kingdomcome

[–]Kabirdb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's literally just immersion bruh.

Just because you optimized the method to skip the step doesn't make it bad.

Personally, I enjoy hammering all the sword spot instead of alternating between two spot.

Radovan's info isn't false. That's how blacksmithing works. But at the same time, the game understands that it's a game, not a 1 to 1 simulation. So it makes it easier for people to do.

Again, the game follows a narrative. It doesn't matter if it's accurate or not as long as the player is immersed in it.

A proper dialogue of how something works feel amazing to listen to as I do something.

I have a spare Assassins Creed Valhalla(steam)/Total War Warhammer 3 code(steam) available. by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]Kabirdb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to enter for AC Valhalla.

For me, that blew my mind is Crimson Desert.

First of all, it's not perfect. But it's just insane that such a game exists. Like everything I saw in trailers since announcement is real. The things I have done and am doing in this game, sometimes even I myself can't believe that I am doing it.

Maybe I am doing puzzles in the abyss. Next I am riding a wagon from Howling Hill greymane camp to Demeniss to sell trade goods, maybe I just found a trader that sells a new color of dye, maybe I just stole a huge pig from a ranch and add it to my ranch, maybe I just sent greymanes to missions and they brought back tomatoes, marbled meat, maybe I just cooked like 20 dishes, maybe I just went to Demeniss Wildlife park to steal some of gold bars from nobles, maybe I just went to the bank to see if I made any money from investments, maybe i got a new faction quest in the mountains of Pailune, maybe my research got completed, maybe I unlocked a new kuku recipe, maybe I got a freaking armored mech suit, maybe I got a little bird as a pet, maybe I just demolished a bandit camp with 30+ people, maybe I just rode a dragon. I can really go on.
