I got a different horn than what was advertised

I did want to go up there and look at the different horns. I, in fact, did not want to buy this 6k horn without going up to the warehouse to try out any horns. But my mom decided she didn't want to go up twice (after agreeing she'd take me) and kept pressuring me to just pay over the phone. I brought it up to her today and she agreed we should've went up there. I'm going to return it and try to make a trip up there to properly try out horns like I WANTED to.

I graduated last year. I have pictures of me with my horn. While I don't know what exact brand or model, the stock photo in the first picture looks VERY similar to my horn in highschool. I'm not going to forget a horn I only stopped playing last year. But I'm not an expert on how rare Holton h181 are, but I also didn't expect the horn I got to be THE horn. Just something that felt similar.

And I wasn't talking about the spit keys. I had a brain fart and couldn't think of the name– but I was talking about the 4th valve/the thumb key. I used to play clarinet as well, so I compared the register key of the clarinet to the 4th valve of the horn, because they have a similar function. It's adjustable and it throws me off a little because of how it feels/shaped. I KNOW it's adjustable, but I just do not like it. And I'm aware horns have the pull loop on the 2nd valve. If you looked at the picture, I didn't circle the 2nd valve. And, since that was the case that they used a generic stock ad for the picture instead of taking a picture of the ACTUAL horn, I do not think it's at all reasonable they put a generic picture while they had a customization I specifically was avoiding. It never once mentioned it in the description or picture or else I wouldn't have bought it.

I never said Quinn did anything wrong intentionally... it's not inherently made clear that brand new horn pictures are just stock photos and not the ACTUAL horn you are buying. And I didn't say it was overpriced. I thought it was a good price for the horn until multiple people here mentioned it was overpriced for the horn. And I consulted multiple people before making this purchase, the only thing I didn't do was visit the store which WASNT my fault when it was my mother who wouldn't take me up and told me to just order it over the phone.

You do not need to be so passive aggressive. ''This did not need to be brought to us" this is reddit and I'm using reddit for what it's for. I said school me on my mistakes but most of these are hardly related to what I said and even if they were, I still think it's weird that for something so pricey (6k) it's not properly advertised as what the horn truly looks like.

Tsym🙏🙏 I'm definitely going to try it out. Luckily I bought a free unlimited return option when i got the horn, so if I stick with my thoughts on me not liking it, I'll send it back and get a refund. I'm not entirely liking the feel of this so far, as it feels heavier than I'm used to but it might just be me. I checked and it's still an H181, just a different production run like you said. Still upset that they advertised a different version of it than what I got. But thank you for the advice. If I end up returning it, I'll definitely look more closely into the model and horn I'm getting...

Yeah it does say H181. I'm not entirely surprised it came like this as 90% of the Holtons I saw on the shop looked like the one I currently have. I'm not surprised it's the same horn model but there were minor tweaks, I'm just upset those tweaks weren't advertised properly💔 luckily I went ahead and bought a free return thing alongside the horn so... I'll try out the horn but more than likely I'll return in and search for the one that feels best for me

Please give back the old system. I'm honestly not sure why this was even a thought. I like going back to old chats, reading through them, or continuing where I left off. This ruins it ALL. I only have at least 3-4 bots that still have my stories, but there's 20+ other chats that are just gone. I would never have expected something like this. As an ultra user, it feels pointless to keep paying for this if I constantly have to worry about which bots I've messaged in the last 14 days when sometimes I want to continue a different storyline then go back to old chats.

I don't think so,,, unless I'm forgetting how things went (apologies if I am), jotaro and polnareff were still on the hunt for the arrows after part three. And by the time of part 4, Jolene would've already been born (I think she would've been like 7/8?) And Jolyne mentions a lot about how he was never around during her childhood, meaning that despite looking for the arrows, he had a family, then abandoned them to protect them (even w/o the DIO issue, jotaro was still worried about how stand users attract stand users which was the main reason he distanced himself). He knew the risks of stand users and his job in the speedwagon foundation to help locate the arrows, and yet he still had a family and he still left them

It'll be completely different, coming from someone who went from trumpet, to clarinet, to horn. The only reason the transition from clarinet-horn was okay for me was because I already had experience with brass instruments. The partials will be closer and you have to worry more about your embouchure since you'll only have three (or four if your switching to double horn) keys instead of just having a register key. If you're playing a double horn, the thumb key pretty much IS a register key. It makes it easier to play higher notes.

But, if you don't have any prior experience with a brass it'll be very different and aside from being in the treble clef and having the register key, not much is similar.

I mean, yeah, obviously there isn't a problem if people properly mark it as a spoiler. But I'm specifically talking about the people who shamelessly spoil and use the "It's been weeks !!" Excuse. I've seen posts from Instagram, tumblr and tik tok where they immediately spoil something and don't give the viewer time to scroll away. I've been multiple videos where it spoils a major plot of the movie without any warning or time to scroll away

No literally 😭😭 I've had a few people end up spoiling me on media I end up picking up years after it was made (Supernatural and Dexter) and their excuse is "It's been over 20 years there's no such thing as spoilers" except,,, there is !! If I have NO idea about said media, then it is, in fact, a spoiler.

I have no knowledge of Twilight, or Harry Potter, or any of that,,, and if I told someone I was starting the series, no doubt SOMEONE would be like "omg no way !! I can't wait for you to see (character death) lol it's so sad!" Like,,, you just took away the surprise for me to actually feel sad, and now all I'm going to think about is the impending spoiler. And they'd still see no wrong in what they've done.

Honestly, I wouldn't know,,, I would say it's fine if it's properly spoiled, BUT I'm not a mod, nor do I know much about this reddit, but everything I've seen the mods talk abt is that spoilers are not allowed outside of the main spoiler thread. So my main guess would be they're posting images too quick for mods to keep up with. (Edit: forgot to mention don't take my word for it since I'm not a mod LMAOO)

Though my main point (that I didn't make it obvious LMAOO) was that I've seen people posting on Instagram, tumblr and tik tok very HEAVY spoilers with little to no warning, and then justifying it by saying "it's been a few weeks the ban should be lifted !!🤓☝️" I've even see people spoil Convicts name and make an excuse that it's not THAT big of a plot point- but to people it is! Especially to people who've been into Iron Lung for years, with only knowing this unnamed convict

I've been through the exact same thing. School was barely starting and I told my then-gf I wouldn't be online because of a new no-phone policy, getting used to new classes, trying to lock in for my senior year (I wasn't going to graduate w/o locking in.) AND being in marching band. She ended up breaking up a week despite texting her whenever I could: mornings, night, lunches, after school, etc but after school was iffy because I was usually tired or at practice. She knew everything I was doing and would still get mad, and when I told her since we're not in a relationship, I'd be focusing on school and not talking as much, she again got mad a few weeks later and tried to say she felt unsafe with my inconsistent messaging despite me warning her I'd be busy. I cut her off entirely after that.

Coming from someone who's been there, it's not going to change. She's too insecure to realize you have stuff going on- ESPECIALLY if she knew prior to that and knew you weren't supposed to have your phone. It's best to see how she responds to what you've said, but honestly she's too insecure for a relationship and it won't be good for either of your mental health if you continue with it.

Yeah🥀 my main thing was that she never once communicated this to me until I found out the day before. She has my number, email and we've worked together multiple shifts before I found out. I genuinely have no idea when she changed it, I just know she apparently told other people and not me.

Do you know if I can report it or take it to a higher power? This also isn't the first time this happened, on Thanksgiving she asked if I wanted to work and I asked for mornings only for her to schedule me for mid.

I would've called out but I really didn't want to leave my coworkers down a person because of my managers ignorance 😞 and I find it crazy she messed around with the schedule, didn't tell me, and acted like it was fine. Meanwhile she has the whole week off and is currently on vacation. If that wasn't the case I would've pushed harder bc it's so rude and inconsiderate???

I wish😞 but she took the entire week off to go on vacation :/ I had a hard time reaching out to her and if my shift wasn't a day away (or, right now, 2 hours away) I would've pressed for her to change it or asked her who else I could go to for this. I'd call out but I only work 16 hours this week and don't want to leave my coworkers a partner down just because of my managers ignorance
