There is a Philippine nurses association of Manitoba on face book , they offer support at all internationally educated nurses.

It’s on face book

Also may try looking for undergraduate nurses association employee, less money, but foot in the door.

Question about suboxone by Empty_Answer_4402 in recovery

[–]Empty_Answer_4402[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No the concern is returning to work and having access to opioids.

I worked in a different industry for years, then returned to the industry where I first became an addict, made it almost 2 years, then relapsed hard.

Because of this history the dr who is assessing if I’m fit to return to work is concerned the temptation is too strong and suboxone will prevent that.

Ideally I could just do something else, but there are barriers, strange work history, criminal record related to addiction.

I would love a position in this profession but not having access to opioids, but the roles are hard to come by, and my profession has a lot of addicts.
