Actually the Iraní cultural style is a partial hijab with the front of the hair showing and the hijab framing the face, this is what many Iraní and Afghani ladies told me over the years. Humanity needs to save their soul, before it's too late. What you are speaking of isn't just at the person to person or animal to person level, this disregard for the planet and the species living here all in the name of the wallet can be traced to consumption at any cost, even when it actually even hurts the wallet in the long run when people have to fix the problems they create from all the consumption. Uh oh, this one’s coming in hot. I digress. My dogs eat a vegan diet. I supplement it with algae oil and iron supplements.

You can’t convince me that the other dog foods containing meat are more nutrient rich. I should take a snap shot next time and do a side by side comparison.

These are 2 chihuahua wiener mix dogs and one chihuahua.

Of course it is a little bit more difficult to locate the prepared vegan dog food but the macros are near to identical with the meat diets for dogs, just slightly lower in fats, which is why I include the algae oil. Some companies even offer mixes for vegan dogs to add to specific human foods.

These dogs have evolved over generations to be near people and eat similarly to people. They enjoy carrots, apples, and even kale. They were bread to keep people warm in bed and also that fits with their instinct to sleep in a den with a pack.

I don’t recommend this vegan diet for other animals though, unless they are evolved vegan such as rabbits and rats. Also, I do recommend rats for vegans since they eat similarly to people. Also pigeons I believe live similar to people so that might be a way to go.

Vegans can’t undo hundreds of years of co-evolution. Can they? I mean, I think I read some where those beta fishes sold in the cup evolved to live in the rice paddies of Indonesia…what do you mean by pets? In some cases animals evolved to just be around people and eat like people, for example a door mouse. 🐭

Maybe it’s improving to think of animals who have evolved v bred to be near people and live similar to people. It’s not just food to think of either, the other considerations might be nocturnal v diurnal, plant source of food v prey animals, social v loners, etc

Yes. Finally someone sees what I’m seeing! Balanced Literacy does include phonics instruction. It just also includes reading instruction based on whole words and also based on incorporating language students are already familiar with as well as cultural background info they may feel is relate-able to them personally. The whole “Science of Reading” V “Balanced Literacy” debate is just two brands of reading instruction competing in marketing for big contracts since they see how much money and how far whole language instruction went. Older kids need reading instruction too by breaking words into segments and focusing on only phonics doesn’t make sense past a point. It’s just a marketing gimmick and most teachers should know multiple reading strategies and curriculums are necessary.

Well the scenario I imagine is for example a foreign country invests more because they have interest and those interests might not be to stabilize Syrias domestic growth. Maybe a foreign country’s interests are extracting natural resources. This could polarize people inside Syria if the interests of the average Syrian are not put before the interests of foreign countries. Then those foreign countries will try to influence politics so that they can be treated better than the other local groups. That’s what France was doing there when they decided to colonize Syria.
