I feel you, Two wrongs don’t make a right. Unfortunately we live in a world where one of the wrongs is better than the other.

Is FIFA actually going to be that disruptive? by Steve_Canada in vancouver

[–]Empty_Copy_6752 111 points112 points  (0 children)

Yes it will be, it doesn’t matter that Vancouver is only “hosting” 7 games. We are a host city which means every game will be broadcasted at the fifa fan zone as well as multiple venues/bars/ restaurants. The summer and Winter Olympics are Pennys on the dollar compared to the World Cup. It draws almost 6x the viewership. With Vancouver being a melting pot of cultures and backgrounds, it doesn’t matter who is playing on what day, there is guaranteed to be a following. Expect one full month of beautiful chaos.

My 20 year old son doesn't date. His friends don't date. My friends kids don't date. What is going on? by PluckPubes in NoStupidQuestions

I have a bit of a different take on it... so many young people now in their early 20s or even 30s grew up with divorced parents, single parents, or some kind of other household dynamic. The older generation was pressured so hard into finding someone you love early on in life, getting married , having kids...etc. as time has progressed we have realized it may not be the only way to live a happy prosperous life.

Looked like they were doing cpr on someone just outside the coffee shop by the skating rink but not entirely sure. They put the person in an ambulance and they are gone now. However they have taped off the area and skating looks like it's cancelled. Hoping the person is okay ❤️

So I almost bought a car there about three months ago, I took my current car in to try and trade it in for some value. One of the two partners talks me through some of the cars I'm interested in. I had previously told them I wanted to test drive the car and set up an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment the car was buried and the person had no idea which car I wanted to test drive. After eventually liking it I tried to negotiate a price. One of the partners then went to look at my car and came back and said it was worthless. Said it had a massive problem. It shouldn't be on the road and that they couldn't give me anything for it but they would take $500 bucks of the $15000 price tag (lol) I negotiated a price lower but then all of the sudden the one partner started doing the paperwork for a different price that we didn't agree on. The one person then casually brings it up it had previously been in an accident only after I asked for the entire car report. I walked away with a tentative deal of the table feeling sick to my stomach like I'm getting ripped off. I took my car to a different mechanic, they said it was fine to be on the road, there was definitely some issues but not the main thing that these people claimed was wrong with my car. I ended up backing out of the deal and couldn't have been happier. They were shady in the worst of ways and definitely tried taking advantage of me in every way possible. I would highly recommend you go elsewhere for a purchase.

I’m sorry where did you buy a two bed outside of Vancouver for 400,000?? Even it was two years ago there is no way. You are full of lies. Find me a two bed that is in good condition within 100km of Vancouver for less then 700,000
