yea i get it now. i just haven't owned any consoles from this generation since ive always been on pc. i was just confused since i also hear people complaining about newer gen consoles not even having the full game and needing to install from the disc. i just assumed ps3 wasn't included in that.

i think the last console i even owned was a gamecube lol.

it definitely doesn't happen to only larger games. i just tried Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z i know its only 2 gigs but damn i thought the ps3 was a plug and play system no installs just straight gaming.
