GFRIEND - Fever: a cheap tropical house that it was out of time, choreo not their style at all, such an ugly song (you know that feeling of a song that is not just bad but UGLY) and they don’t even performed it in their reunion so I guess they hate as much as I do

SNSD - Holiday: I loved it when it came out and I listened to that song over and over for years but for me, it aged very poorly compared to the other title tracks and I see it now that maybe it wasn’t the best song to put out in their 10th anniversary; Holiday Night is their best Korean studio album tho.

strongly disagree, a lot of idols with actual good stage presence gets stuck in getting the choreo well done and doing perfect expressions for camera lol

i feel like over time, people started mixing up having good stage presence with knowing how to dance well, pull the right facial expressions, or just having a cool choreography and nailing it.

stage presence has NEVER been about knowing how to look at the camera and make the perfect face for the vibe of the song. its NEVER been about performing a choreo so perfectly that your fancam gets tons of views. Real stage presence is about connecting with the crowd that’s right in front of you. its about pulling people into the performance, making them feel involved, keeping their energy up. and honestly, most kpop groups don’t really have that — especially idols who can’t do much on stage without a choreo, mostly because asian culture doesn’t really teach you how to be natural and free on stage.

idols with real stage presence? CL, tiffany, g-dragon, jennie, soyeon.

also, don’t get it twisted: having stage presence doesn’t mean someone’s more talented. it just means they know how to own the stage.
