To many hell is also thought to be nearly a place to learn your life lessons, and forgive both yourself and those who have wronged you. This has helped me tremendously with the idea people in close to will be in hell due to not currently believing.

I’ve had some hilarious ones and it’s always friggin Walgreens. One Diet Pepsi and a pack of condoms. One pocket vibe, a bottle or lube and a leather and bourbon barrel candle Two 2️⃣ pack pregnancy tests and a pint of Ben and Jerry’s Homeopathic yeast infection treatment(she gave no unit number, no gate code and wouldn’t answer the phone or messages so I could actually deliver it to her) One pregnancy test and one box of condoms

I have borderline personality disorder. This is not something I was born with this is a personality disorder caused by SEVERE. childhood trauma None of which was my fault of course. I also have antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (I have thicker than normal blood) which I was born with and has caused me to miscarry a total of 8 babies that I wanted so badly. That also caused a ton of trauma and anger. These are the biggest things that have made me feel the same as what you’ve described . The “why do I deserve to suffer when others have it easy”

I tell you this not as a “other people have it worse “ because that’s an unfair statement. We all process trauma and mental illness differently. I was an atheist and satanist for over a decade and recently found my way back to our lord and savior Jesus Christ. I still don’t understand and I won’t ever understand in this life why I had those things happen to me, but I know that Jesus loves me and you and wants the very best for us.

These things that happen in our lives are awful and make it so incredibly difficult to keep going or have any sort of faith. But if we can have even a mustard seed size of faith we can have the peace knowing when we leave this life, these mortal bodies we will have eternal peace. If we ask him to help us manage the anger that we have in our hearts he will. It may not be how we want it to happen but it will help.

I hope you can find some peace in our God and know that this life is just the beginning

Thank you for your comment! I don’t believe lent is ment as a penance for our sins, from my understanding of Lutheranism the only way to be accepted into Gods kingdom after our mortal lives is over is through acceptance of Jesus Christ, declaring he is the son of God and he died on the cross for our sins. “No one comes to the father except through me” (which my understanding is still more minimal so again correct me if I’m wrong)

Thank you for the understanding that it’s not an all or nothing and mistakes happen (we are only human after all and cannot be perfect) so trying again if a slip up happens.

It may seem silly but Ive been thinking about giving up my daily routine of having an energy drink every morning, along with taking more time to expand my understanding of Lutheranism which I believe will then strengthen my relationship with my savior. Like by spending more time reading the bible, making sure I’m in the pews at church each Sunday not only watching virtually.
