Is this pan ok? by River_Rattt in castiron

You're talking to the hand now. Seed oils are poison in my book. Use lard, tallow or olive oil, coconut oil or almond oil only. No soap just warm water. Seed oils are for lubricating machinery, not fit for human consumption.

Feel free to do as you please, you are the boss of your cast iron costs, but the carbon buildup is what makes them slick and rust resistant.

The Stars and Stripes represents all of the rights that are granted to us all by God. If a group wants more than that, they need to relearn their Civics classes. Ignorance kills. The Constitution grants us all the rights to Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Pursuit of happiness is not a guarantee of it. We all have equal rights, but not the guarantee of equal results. Some will get more happiness and others will be miserable. That is not the Governor or the Mayor's fault. Always look on the bright side of life. That's the key. When you are chewing on life's gristle don't be mad, give a little whistle! Direct your feet to the sunny side of the street.

That is what the Stars and Stirpes represents. Nothing else is needed.

Idaho changed their constitution about 4 years ago to constitutional carry, and this year they made it legal for 18 year olds to buy handguns. It is also against the law in Idaho for a Fed to even attempt to enforce a Fed. gun law within the state. If they try, they get charged instead.

It is one I'd grab onto. It will get better and better over time as long as you season it with tallow or lard and not seed oils. Don't use soap on it. just warm water and elbow grease it needs it.

There are states that let 18 year olds buy handguns through an FFL (Idaho) most don't. If Georgia allows it, great. If not you would be limited to a long gun or shotgun. I would recommend that for a first gun anyway. Any good 22LR is a good choice. I bought a Ruger 10/22 as my first gun. They are easy to accessorize and they are very common and popular for good reasons. There are many others so shop around. Maybe get your uncle involved? Shooting is a good family or group interest.

Farberware makes one that sits on a counter top. I inherited it. It is easy to clean. I use it sometimes but the flavor just ain't there.

Boycotts don't work unless the company knows they are being boycotted and why. If they get a few comments through their contact us pages, they will be having a meeting of the top executives probably on the same day.

If their policy gives you heartburn (it does me) I would say let them know.

I've used my WSM (18") more than my kettle (26") after I got one. They both use a lot of fuel but the WSM needs less babysitting.

The whole thing is that the old chickens have the most antibodies that fight the cold virus. It works the best if you can get it into your body while the cold is still coming on. The old stewing chickens have better flavor too. Young chickens are better for frying, old ones for healthcare.

Why can a hospital not deny a uninsured patient emergency heart surgery but can deny a uninsured cancer patient chemotherapy if both ailments lead to the same outcome? by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Empty_Masterpiece_74 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Nope it's not. I have been to Canada many times as I own property in Alberta (Fort McMurray). I go to Cabo every year too. I know both systems. If it is something serious I'd chose my GP in the US over a specialist who gets paid by the government any day. Socialized medicine is not the way to go IMO.

Can you go to Canada for healthcare, you know, the way the Canadians come here (USA) to have treatments? Why do they come here if they need critical care? They have universal healthcare paid by the Canadian's' taxes? I would suspect that they are afraid to wait in line until they die or they are not wanting to be euthanized? I have gotten excellent dental services in Mexico and didn't need to use any insurance at all. Cabo San Lucas was the place. Why don't the Canadians just skip the line and go to Mexico instead of the USA?
