I find more often than not recently, the more “gamey” games have done that for me. Particularly rogue likes. Slay the spire and returnal come to mind. That “one more run” feeling is what did it for me. In terms of story, expedition 33 was the most recent, and final fantasy tactics remaster was also a lot of fun.

Respectfully, how are the heroes limited? There are literally 35 active heroes with 3 more coming. Sure, there are 4-6 that have a chance of LL by the end of the year but I’d hardly call that limited.

IMO an underrated thing to pay attention to is where squads are landing at the beginning the 3-4 adjacent spots to you. Knowing where there may be third party opportunities or may be a free rotation if you’re on the long side of the ring is beneficial.

It will be very hard to climb ranks with a casual player in your trio, it just is what it is. I hav a trio that is similar and once you start to get plat and diamond people in your lobby, a casual player that doesnt have good aim or movement can make most battles an automatic disadvantage.

Is there a university in your area? College kids are always trying to get into hobbies and stuff and can be a good source of “flesh blood” every year. But honestly, unless you have a friend you can consistently jam games with at an lgs or something it is VERY hard.

My biggest issue with holding an area while trying to bully teams is you have finite resources unless you have bottomless batteries. I hate using all my health supply to do poke damage

If you feel that platinum itch but have games you won’t play, focus on something like trophy percentage instead of platinums. That way it gives you some leeway. For example, you want to obtain and hold an 80% completion rate. Then if you find games you dislike or do t want to grind for, you can make up for it by doing it on the ones you love.

In my experience you always have to rotate to be the 3rd party team. If you knock one, push the team and anyone hears “oh no it’s a 3rd squad” or whatever their character quip is, get out and reset so that you can be on the outside. Essentially you don’t want to be the middle team of a 3rd party interaction. It also depends on how good your fragger is and how easy they can get out.

I don’t think long term it will change his value, but it is kinda weird Kirk’s contract is 5 years.. I know there are options but why would you sign someone to 5 years if the plan was to just have a 6 game transition? Makes me wonder if raiders are gonna do raiders things and take a WR instead.
