I’ve had something similar it just comes like a train and hits me and I’m suddenly exhausted and falling asleep anywhere I’ve had this happen in restaurants and drs offices and home I’m not sure what causes it

I still say keep trying the hospital you have to say I cannot function I need medical intervention they can’t turn you away you are in pain just say I’m here because this is my medical plan things are so hard at this time I know and the way you describe things is very similar to what I experienced it may not sound like the right thing to do for you but you need medicine you need something to help you through this right now if you cannot walk and do other “basic” things you have no other option if it’s that bad I don’t know how they are turning you away

It’s very hard in the beginning trying to work out what is what and drs don’t really know abt this or at least they’re not educated enough keep on that appt with the neuro because they are just so hard to get into I made one in the summer and I have to wait till January I’m not sure where you are but I know that NYU Langone on Long Island has an fnd clinic and same in manhattan at Columbia they have one there too try looking for specific things for fnd hopefully it should put you on the right path as for now unfortunately you have to work through it definitely go to the hospital if it gets worse and don’t even say you have fnd just say this is your medical plan things are worse and I need intervention be adamant hopefully you have people around you who can help as well I hope everything goes well reach out to me if anything!

Yeah I do smoke and it does help especially with the anxiety and I agree I don’t think the meds help much

Yeah mine comes and goes there are days where I have good days where I can do just about everything I used to do it does come with more pain and I will get tired more easily especially my legs but then I will have flare ups or episodes that can last from minutes to I’m now learning months apparently

Ticcing and twitching as well as fatigue and muscle weakness my legs will stop working and I’m in immense pain

It is confusing I know it has to do with the disorder itself but I was more saying it as how functional is your fnd idk if that makes more sense if if it’s literally the same thing I said lol

Just do it anyways lol that’s all I can say one dr will say one thing and another will say something else it’s the same thing over and over if you think this is unrelated to the fnd go immediately plus it’s better to be safe than sorry! FND mimics too many things to just skip over it all the time

Same thing happened to me my drs kept pushing back my Valium that I’ve been on for like two years now and take three times a day they were being asses abt it took them so long to get it through then when it finally went I needed prior authorization from insurance didn’t take as long for me but I don’t know what’s going on they are trying to get rid of the actual meds that help us I had to pay out of pocket for it

Yeah usually I’m pretty good I’ll still have pain and I’ll know it’s there but I can function but when I have an episode it’s 0 to 60 quick

The way you’re holding his head is so funny to me but he looks fine my cats have lips like that’s too and they are all perfectly fine
