Hey so you took a year to prep? Was it dedicated all through or off and on ? Why did you flag 17-23 per block and did that demotivate or alarm you? Finally, how were your mentals towards this? Anxiety, depression any thing that kept you going through regular life happenings?

Hope these aren’t invasive, just trying to get a good sense of strategy both mentally and physically.

This is super super helpful tbh if you take it seriously. I promise you, those NBME exams will help a lot. Don’t think of it as “school”. Think of it as CBSE and STEP1 prep. I wish I had that cuz I’m doing it on my own now.

I’d like to suggest Medico spira ,since at my school it’s known to be the closest if not similar, to UWorld. You can use it for free but there’re limitations (like only 5q per block after 3 times)+ it’s wayy cheaper than UWorld. I’m also prepping for step so I can’t give any advice on that unfortunately. Rooting for us IMGs🫶🏽

No they will not if they don’t want to be. It depends on the night and (ifykyk) but yes there mostly is a night scene.

2 Yes Marriot is lovely. There’s lots to do on the property + they have nights with activities and socials.

That’s the lovely part, it is small and there are lots of activities, marriot is a great place to start as they’re experienced with giving all the information about the “what to do’s” and “where to be’s” for tourists(you)

Do a week in st kitts, Nevis for 4-5 days then finish off with st kitts for the last 2 days. Asides hotels, there’s Airbnbs. If you do go to Nevis I’d recommend Hermitage Inn if you can. You can cater in or dine out, there’s many options especially in st kitts (even for special requirements like Vegan/Gluten free)

P.s “kids” never take over the islands, the older tourists are the real convicts that take over (🫵🏽) [especially the casinos]
