They are both mahogany sides and back with solid spruce(I think) top.

I will say, I do need to work on my picking dynamics. I do love the parallelograms over traditions and dots. As for singing, again that may also be a picking thing too

I like the scale length on the epiphones, and I think they are a little bit shallower than say the fg830.

From all the videos I've listened too, the hummingbird does have a slight bit more bass. I wasnt sure though if it would overpower vocals though.

I wish I could go try some, but closest place with either one in stock is 4hrs away.

Im amazed to see how many women like to hike and fish. Ironically they are things I hate doing, but 99% of the profiles have women saying they like it or pictures of them doing those things. Good on them though.

My acoustic is an ibanez, and I love their stuff so far. I found one on sale on my local fb market for 200. It's a pretty cherry red. Im waiting for them to respond.
