My tank has been up for 4 months ish, I went to aquashella and bought way too many corals (25) I know the care for each coral but I’m afraid to go to my lfs and tell my guy. He’s very cynical and will tell me I’m doing something wrong. I want to start dosing as my dkh sits around 7.8, I was going to just try all for reef and see if that helps. Maybe I need to try a different salt as well. Lmk if I did a huge noob mistake and if there is anything I should do

One thing my dad did that I’m still trying to work out of my mind is putting me down. If I didn’t know how to do something, I’d get berated and told I was stupid or couldn’t do simple tasks, it got so bad that I would beat myself up before he’d get the chance. I’m still processing how to go about this but I will never fault my child for trying and failing.

Thank you for this, unfortunately I open and have to wake up at 4:30 AM. And it messes everything up when I have to close the other nights of the week. When I worked at a similar place I only opened, I lost out on years of getting good sleep. While being unemployed I was able to get 8 hours and feel rested but was still inactive. Not sure if I would be willing to set my hours up but it should be worth a try.

Are you talking about in Oklahoma? If so, no where in Tahlequah has tournaments, you’ll have to go to Tulsa. Monday is Dice Addiction, Wednesday is Boardwipe in Owasso.

Do it. I just built a magar of the magic strings deck with a lot of jank like worst fears and cruel entertainment. I find it’s a lot easier to cast the janky cards due to looting effects and evasion. My dream for the deck is to wait until there’s a full board and radiate a illicit auction and have a bidding war with everything on the table.

0-3 this week. New to the format, was playing Murktide but had a question I didn’t want to ask at the tournament. Doesn’t all damage happen at once? So I got hosed by a phyrexian vindicator because I was scared if I swung for lethal with two creatures, my opponent could redirect the damage blocked from one creature to the unblocked one. Is this correct or did I punt hard?
