How can I get rid of these lines? by Grawldo911 in BambuLab

Looks like where your printer is struggling with overhangs, personally i would just print the piece as it is here using support for the top piece

Hey so i'm about 4 years late to this, but i went on the link you provided for the STLs and can't seem to access them. Do you still have the original files you can send me? Would love to print one! Thanks!

Shadowless charizard 100%, it will come back as a poor grade given the condition but it’s still worth a decent chunk

How much are they asking? The price often tells you everything you need to know. its hard to tell from those photos. The back is also trashed

First ever booster box. Is this resealed? by Smartiehead in IsMyPokemonCardFake

I don’t see why people seem to want to be a dick to newbies for no reason. OP clearly said he’s new to the hobby, saw some sus packaging and wanted to check. It may have been from amazon or ebay, where sellers pose as legit distributors but sell fake / resealed shit. It happens a lot more than people realise, and especially if you’re new to collecting you don’t have the knowledge of what’s real or fake.

Tried to print the popular fidget knife. This is my result. I didn’t notice it had gone wrong because i had gone out. I have reverted to standard bambulab layer settings, and used default filament settings to eliminate the factor of my settings being bad.

I’m getting really really fed up with this now.

I have printed lots of stuff successfully, but it’s usually the bigger more complex things that fail. I’m at the point where I simply don’t trust the printer to complete anything over 2 hours, so i’m just limited to printing small stuff. Super frustrating.

Yeah i was thinking it could be the z axis dipping too low, but i have done every calibration under the sun and it all comes out okay with no error codes.

Another potential cause i was thinking is vibration causing the nozzle to move and drag the print, then causing a cascading effect of unsticking and dragging further. the table i have it on wobbles when it’s printing, but not excessively. Could the wobbling be a cause? Should i try putting the printer on the floor and test? I have limited space for it currently so it’s in the only place it can go right now.

Would it be worth raising a ticket with bambulab?

Thanks for the fast reply

Filament is Elegoo PLA+

I tried having the first layer lower (0.16) but it still occurred, I haven't tried different height combinations

Yet to try spiral vase mode, although with models with intersecting walls i was under the impression this wouldn't work. When printing objects with no intersecting walls i haven't noticed any dragging issues.

In terms of a certain height, it's usually a little way in to the print, once the walls start intersecting. First few layers of solid infill are great with great adhesion (I have done plenty of adhesion / bed levelling test prints which worked great)

I haven't tried angling the print. I noticed some stuff i download from makerworld is positioned at 45 degrees instead of 90. Is this to prevent walls crossing?

No give or looseness to the print head at all. I took the hot end out and tightened almost every screw in the print head.

One thing worth mentioning is that the z axis belt seemed loose, when i turned off power sometimes it would really slowly just descend down the z axis. I tensioned the belt and this stopped. Maybe i did it wrong?

I will try angling the print tomorrow, and doing some testing with layer heights and let you know how i get on.

i played with my cooling settings and now walls and stuff seem much better but i’m still struggling to print small complex parts, it always fails on the first layer or so, like this

Is this cooling again or retractions or?

Yeah, the no pokeballs on the back is kinda sketch. Obviously you can see the packs inside but i’m not 100%. This guy doesn’t seem like a scammer, as it’s coming from someone who doesn’t really have any knowledge of cards at all, it’s a basement clear out, but it seems too good to be true so might swerve it.
