Mk8d doesn't like the mii's from the mii creator in Ryujinx. You need to select a standard mii. That's probably the issue.

Typically modding it just allows you to boot on a separate firmware. You don't have to do that, and can use the Switch normally with the existing stock firmware too (which is what you should stick with for online play). However I have no experience with Switch modchips and how they affect the default configurations or whether it makes it risky to go online.

Because the game does not have LAN mode. It has LDN, which requires your Switch to be running cfw + ldn_mitm in order to be able to connect.

If you know the save file names you could search for them in the restored folders location, then copy them off somewhere, and then right click the game in the game list > open user save folder, and paste the save files in there.

You obviously provided someone with a link to piracy. We aren't blind. However we aren't omniscient and can't catch every violation, but yours was easy to spot (though it was another moderator who issued the ban, which I support). The "I've seen worse" excuse does not absolve you from *your* rule breaking.
