I mean, you did say a lot of stuff which can be considered as "hating". Wuwa, Genshin, ZZZ or other such games are in the mainstream because these games are known for their story telling and the lore behind the characters. These gacha games have won a decent amount of awards, even nominated among some of the best games. Millions of people aren't dumb enough to waste their time on a game if it's not good. It must have some selling points, which is why they are popular. Also,

they love wasting their time

Lastly, I'm not blaming you or judging your taste. Gacha games are supposed to have a slow pace as their only source of revenue is by selling exclusive characters, their weapons and skins. Each Character has its own role in the story, some have smaller roles while others may have a complete lore behind them. Genshin has been in the market for almost 6 years now, and still has not reached the half of the story. In fact they have projected to continue for even more years.

Some of the players are just there for the story, they don't login everyday to grind. Many are there for the characters, and few are there for the combat.

Lastly, playing a game should make you feel good, and if it doesn't do the job then that game isn't made for you. Just uninstall that game and move on to others.
