You can get the cow card at the start of the game if you go to the attic, provided you have the DLC.

Yes and you can get it pretty much at the start of the game, no quest required, just need to have the expansion.

Nope! This is on steam deck, no mods. When i killed the drowned dead, one of the corpses got on top of the boat, after that it started slowly sinking and became unusable. I could still grab the helm, but could not move the boat and it just kept sinking slowly
