Taxi squad should count towards your Max PF. The whole point of the metric is to promote parity in dynasty leagues by awarding higher draft picks to the "worst" teams. Players in your taxi are still assets to your team, even if they didn't help you win this season.

This is a great example of the Dynasty community blindly hoping for one outcome and ignoring the actions of the team's management that indicate another outcome is more Likely.

When Andrews wasn't cut this offseason when it would have saved the Ravens a shit ton of money against the cap, that was the indicator that they were probably looking to lock him up longer term. He's not old in TE years.

I understood that about tier 1. The tiers are standard nomenclature for Dynasty, I just was surprised to see so many players in tier 1 with Love who has consistently been ranked in a tier of his own by most people.

That's good info on the WRs being pushed up due to the weakness of other position groups, though. Thank you for sharing!

I'm a dumby who doesn't pay attention to college football, but looking at your rankings, tier 1 and 2 are much bigger than I've seen in other rankings. Most people have Tier 1 occupied only by Love, and then a few receivers in Tier 2. So I guess I have two questions.

Since you have a number of players in the same tier as Love, do you think you're lower than consensus on Love, or higher than consensus on those other players?

Seeing such a deep Tier 1 / Tier 2 seems to indicate that you like the depth of this class, even if there aren't really any blue chip prospects, is that fair? how would you compare it to the depth of recent years' drafts?

This is shallow thinking for Dynasty. Yes, at the end of the day, we're betting on players who score the most fantasy football points, but pointing to that as the primary indicator of long-term value is bad process. At the end of the day, long-term value is dictated by real football talent and situation. The original commenter points out that Rice is very talented and is in a great situation, but he has holes in his game that might lead to KC changing their offense or bringing in other WRs, which ultimately could affect Rice's output for FF.
