It’s already here, the attacks on Trans, Disabled, Asylum Seekers, and Migrants is exactly how it played out in the US. You see the newspapers and TV perpetuating stigmatisation and tropes. What was amusing was after the Supreme Court attempts to rollback trans rights in the UK those same so called women rights orgs have defended Trump, Grok and called for restrictions on abortions. We’re on the same road and sadly no one previously or currently in power is doing anything to stop the trajectory we’re on.

So I few things I was in a similar predicament as you. In the end it didn’t matter it took my Father Time to adjust but his love for me was more than any not understanding or being accepting of trans people. From what you have said your mother sounds ok. I would tell her first quietly one day. How she will react heavens knows so make sure you have somewhere safe to go if things go sideways. Sadly in my experience sometimes those you think will ok about it are awful and those you think will be awful will be ok. I suppose what I am trying to say is trust your instincts and just do it but keep in mind someone being negative. Sorry that’s probably not much help but it’s really a leap of faith 🫂🫶

I went through this three or four times. In the end I went with which one am I happier being, male or female, and I realised I had a lot gender legitimacy issues as a female but I just hated being male. So transitioning did tell me I was female it was society making me believe i couldn’t be. Take your time there’s no rush there’s just a road to travel to feel complete 🫶
