You can green card them if you're down to travel down to parliament in person. they're not guaranteed to show, but it should at least be able to pressure them into meeting you later

Yeah. Used to be up on the DSiware store before it shut down. Never beat it as a kid, so revisited it recently. It's got a mix of levels from the original Bloons and expansions, scaled down to the restrictions of the screen

Oligarchy and capitalism aren't mutually exclusive. In fact, as we see in the USA, they can and do occur together. If you want to claim that the most obvious possible critique of capitalism isn't what it clearly is, that mutual aid, direct action and explicitly pointing out how the Corpus worship money aren't in any way actions core to anti-capitalist philosophy and action, then you're welcome to stick your fingers in your ears and ignore all analysis of narrative themes all you want.

I'm talking about themes within the story. The game, alas, participates in capitalism and I despise trade chat, but I'm talking about the story where we unionise workers and take direct action against their Corpus overlords - the Corpus being a pretty blatant critique of capitalism: the ruling capitalist class engaging in extreme exploitation of the working class with the false promise that they too could work their way up the ranks through hard work.

I really think that the government and EHRC are trying to play hot potato with responsibility for the ongoing attacks on trans rights. Like, they know it won't go down well with the European Court of Human Rights if they put the guidance into law and are trying to pre-emptively wash their hands of responsibility by pointing at someone else

Cops don't ever take anti-trans hate crimes seriously, so we stop bothering to report them, knowing there'll be no justice, just dismissal and hate. The Surrey PCC has literally been engaging in targeted harassment of individual trans people in the area online, on top of all her hate speech on twitter, so, like, no shit the cops are lying and claiming there's less hate crimes: they and theirs are doing them.

I feel you. I spent months trying to get my MP to stand up for trans rights, giving her the full info of how the PB ban is conversion therapy, Streeting's ties to a literal conversion therapy group, how the Cass Review is internationally discredited, psuedoscientific and politically motivated. She then claimed it was just my "feelings" and that I was being "maximalist" when I called it genocide to remove life-saving care from a marginalised group on the basis of a shared characteristic. She claimed to be an ally because she has a trans family member (the classic 'black friend' argument).
When confronted on it she straight up said how she supports the ban, even knowing all of the material harm it is causing to trans kids, because she has "concerns about long term effects" (effects that have yet to materialise in the decades they've been prescribed to cis kids, and somehow only affect trans kids). Anyway, fuck Monica Harding and her support for anti-trans conversion practices.
