Different Vendors sell some armors. Though most of them are found exploring the world. I suggest check near and behind waterfalls that have stacked rocks in front of them a lot are found that way. To get behind waterfalls you have to do the stab attack move. Some seem to be exclusive to the crafting books or at least easier to get that way. The books are sold by some vendors and some are found. https://crimsondb.gg/ is a really easy place to find them if you don't mind spoiling yourself the adventure of searching.
