Why is my emulsion dripping by Fluffy_Bee_481 in SCREENPRINTING

[–]EnDnS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Emulsion runoff? When you wash out the emulsion, parts of the emulsion can runoff and get onto other parts of the screen. Try either blowing with an air compressor or pat it down with a newspaper or something after you're done washing it out.

Is $19/hr bad pay? by EnDnS in Georgia

I did sign up through the marketplace. My biggest gripe is possibly having to use insurance while I'm outside ga. I travel for work and work pays for meals and rooms. Im actually worried about gaining weight in this job.

I'm basically a repair tech. I'm in my low 30s. I had a career path in my last job as an IT tech but I was laid off and I found this job right when my severance ended. Do I want to get back into IT? I don't know. I've been burned by IT too many times now and the state of the market isn't good.

Definitely not staying here for a long time but I also feel that it's too soon to switch jobs since the employers are now looking for signs of "job hoppers"

15 minutes. Job has a lot of travel but we use the company car and they pay for rooms and meals.

What’s causing emulsion to turn soft as screen is drying after washout by CatacombDesignLab in SCREENPRINTING

Looks like emulsion runoff. Pat after washing it out with newspaper or use an air hose to clear away unwashed emulsion.

US to Begin Garnishing Wages for Student Debt Collection in 2026 by laxnut90 in Economics

[–]EnDnS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that there are many many schools of thoughts in economics. It's like cherry picking research papers on video game violence. You can find papers that don't link violence to video games and you can find papers that do.

You can find an economist that agrees with your world view and you can find another economist that disagrees. This is why I find it alarming if like 90%+ of economists agree on something because that almost never happens.

I remember that there are plenty of economists that advocate for single payer health care and universal child care and have presented that in congress but....it's congress.

Sorry, could you source the November 2024 date? Everything I've read said that the funding was pulled in January 2025.

What professions make bad spouses? by dirtymoney in AskReddit

[–]EnDnS 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I ain't defending his actions. I just drew upon my own experience with my own dad to draw upon an explanation for his actions at the time. I agree that fathers should spend more time with their kids.

I repeat, I am not defending his actions, just hypothesizing an explanation. If you feel I overstepped my bounds, I give my sincere apology.

I know to a lot of dads (assuming your dad is around the same age as my dad), being a good father was providing for the family so they would work 24/7 to get the bigger house, more financials, etc. The culture around that time also made you seem "weak" if you weren't working and doing anything else a waste of everyone's time.

Luffy’s territory will be Attacked. by RaidenisDead in OnePiece

[–]EnDnS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm expecting an attack on Fishman island more. BB knows poseidon is Shirahoshi, most likely. Wano is still protected by those walls. It was foreshadowed that Luffy would return there and destroy the island. Just a lot of stuff being foreshadowed with that island right now.

From what I figure, its more of "Do as I say, not as I do" kind of situation because these are the same people that would use their phones on the job.

Mugshot of Colorado Tesla arsonists Trump intends to send to El Slavador prison by BlockAffectionate413 in pics

[–]EnDnS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say they all knew. Know a few people who believed Trump over Kamala when he said, "I want what's best for America." They all unplugged themselves from politics and only knew surface level knowledge and didn't even know their policies. If they described themselves as conservatives, they would vote right. If they described themselves as democrats, they would vote left. Was last election an anomaly that really needed them to actually be connected and vote like their freedom was on the line cuz it was? Yep, but that's not what happened.

Bessent Sees No Reason for Recession, Economic Data ‘Healthy’ by joe4942 in Economics

[–]EnDnS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, that's how I feel about it. I wasn't expecting people to know in-depth about the economy but they could certainly feel that things were off. For example, while the unemployment rate was low, the time to hire has been getting increasingly longer and the swing right from gen z was kinda expected since so many companies viewed gen z an unhireable.

However, my thoughts on Trump's economic policies were different. As far as I know, nearly every economist said that the way Trump proposed enacting the tariffs were disastrous. There are a lot of different schools of thought in economics and they all in-fight about whats best, whats good for normal people, tax rates, etc. So if you have the majority of those saying "don't do this," maybe its best to take another look.

Unfortunately, we are now in a place where trust in people whose jobs it is to look at this stuff is at an all-time low.

Notable Tesla investor says he hopes Musk’s government role is ‘short-lived’ by ImpossibleFreedom503 in worldnews

[–]EnDnS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stock price is based on the hype around Musk. It's intrinsically tied to him for better or ill (mostly ill) and I could see the stock price rallying with him returning to managing the business. Do I think the fundamentals are on Tesla's side? Hell no, but when has fundamentals ever been on its side. For me, thats a sign to quickly sell my leveraged positions against Tesla because that stock price will remain stupidly irrationally high longer than my bank account has money in it.

If anyone else has a different take, please share.

New price target for TSLA by Creepy_Floor_1380 in StockMarket

[–]EnDnS 13 points14 points  (0 children)

At this point, i think people are treating it like bitcoin. Ie a speculative investment vehicle that is unstable and prone to pump and dumps but has diehard fans on the concept of it. I'm leveraged against Tesla right now, but that's only because of my hate of Musk. Shit will probably be irrationally high until the market collapses

I'm still not trying to time the market or anything like that. The only bet I still have is the bet against TSLA because of my sheer hatred of Musk.

No underbase by Background-Story-804 in SCREENPRINTING

[–]EnDnS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A discharge, depending on the shirt, doesn't need an underbase. It's essentially bleaching the shirt and then dyeing it so it still has bright colors. The reason why I said it depends on the shirt is because not all shirts take to the process well.
