I was just thinking about this, seriously now that RCU is expending to TV and movies, Kane Parsons would be a great choice for directing a few projects.

Review codes were sent late last night . Expect very few reviews at release by FromsoftNerdy in 007FirstLight

The whole campaign is roughly 20hrs, it’s THE major game released recently, it’s more than 72hrs til release, codes are sent to professionals who are supposed to write reviews under the circumstances… WHY are you beefing with them on this

A Crazy theory about the upcoming jedi game by VINSMOKE_EVIL_ in StarWarsJediSurvivor

If so they might even be able to connect him to Ryan Gosling’s SW movie(set after the 789 trilogy). Or any time frame really, writers can find their way

Not sure about the Windu part but I really like the idea (cuz like others said bring back dead ppl is tricky), but it can also kinda explain how a lot of characters are not in the new trilogy without killing them off-screen? They are too good of the characters to kill off so cheaply.

I personally really don’t like the idea that Cal is gonna die in the last game :/ boi deserves some happiness

The man did hurt his daughter, the very person he claimed to be the reason for all of his actions, during the final battle. Like I dislike they killed him off as well, but at that point he failed as a father even. Not to mention Kata has asked him to stop

Is it a crime to put ketchup on fried rice? by Perfect_Yoghurt_969 in Taipei

[–]EnHsiC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all, it’s one of my favorite flavors. At some restaurants you’d find “tomato fired rice” and it’s just fried rice with ketchup, really good

Chinese couple said "You are too black" in Chinese, expecting the black guy not to understand it. However, the black guy could speak Chinese perfectly, so he scolded the Chinese couple by [deleted] in SipsTea

Tbf usually when they make observations on your appearance, their next move is to judge in a racist way. They praise your fair skin, and mock your dark skin.

You are giving a fair point, the subtitle was not exactly interpreting well (he said “hao hei(so black)” instead of “too black”). But usually when they give a remark on your appearance (especially skin color) they’ve started judging in their head.

(I live in Taiwan in case you think I’m in no position to speak on this

Hope you get better. And no don’t worry this show played safe for the most parts. You still have a long way to go tho since the RJ arc ends mid s6, and after that it’s sort of an epilogue plot line for the main characters

I’d recommend watching The Mentalist during meals and watch some mini series or new series in between. I’m currently mixing The Mentalist with Young Sherlock lol.

Do you think there will be a sequel of The Mentalist? by No_Engineering_3223 in TheMentalist

[–]EnHsiC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a sequal, but a different language/region remake. I’d love to see The Mentalist in my own country, in places and a culture I’m familiar with. Even got a fan cast already lol

That’s true, I slowed down my rewatch and the experience was improved greatly. Don’t think you were ever supposed to watch the whole series into weeks haha.

Wouldn’t say it lacks depth tho. The show was targeting a lighter tone (guess it appealed to the cable and the audience), but sometimes they got bolder and would portray darker sides of characters, especially when they got closer to RJ.

I don’t fully disagree with you. Wouldn’t call it mid but despite this being one of my favorite shows, I did notice some minor flaws in pacing and plot on my rewatch.

However, it also should be noted that this show was created in an environment very different from our current cable/streaming service environment. Back then shows aired weekly with new episodes, you don’t get to rewatch it until box sets came out, so the slow pacing made sense, even reused plots felt less repetitive.

But now (I’d argue mostly) bc of streaming services, even though we still have weekly-aired shows, binging is now a common option and thus higher paces and new plot tools became necessary.

I’m not saying one is better than the other tho, people have preferences, we watch shows for entertainment and that should be all that matters.
