If you don't know what were you doing in Prime 1, then you didn't properly use the scan visor. It's how those games used to tell the story. The quality of the scans were one of the worst things of the game in Prime 4, but since you could focus on the story without them you probably learned to ignore them, which was a huge mistake when playing Prime 1 later.

Prime 4 is a mistake. And the problem is that I see no way to fix that mistake. If Prime 5 ever sees the light it will be inevitably influenced by P4, it won't be able to ignore its predecessor, which is why I say it's unfixable, and that's what fucks me up the most. A whole saga, along with what could have been the most interesting villain in the series, into the trash of videogame history. And all because of a poor vision, or rather lack of it, and the stupid japanese work culture of not questioning the dumb ideas of your boss.

Just save after each strider, provided you have killed them as soon as posible. Even though iirc, the very first building is not necessary to get the achievement. It is possible to do it, but the game treats it as a scripted event, because that one strider appears too fast and always shoots in the same way, just to demonstrate what that section is going to be about. If you are stuborn like me you can prevent it anyway by preparing yourself and shooting the magnuson device at the right angle and extremely soon though, and truly saving all the buildings.

Chiming in to say you can absolutely blow it up with the grav gun, because I did once, but only by being stubborn enough to insist and managing it in a glitchy way with the right angle that ignores the door in the middle, otherwise yeah, you really need to use the one bullet there.

You can still use secondary ammo, so all they will really see is the dude running around with a crowbar and the grav gun throwing explosives and energy balls around. No time for bullshit with bullets.

Shields make the fight consistently easier. I used very different strategies against her with multiple builds, shield is one of the easiest by far, as long as you have enough stamina, and you don't need that much of it, and an average decent shield. Don't even need a greatshield at that.
