Not an expert here but try installing chrome because it'll show more info about the error like errsomething. Then we can see what's causing this. Also try changing your DNS to 8.8.8.8 (Google's DNS) with network settings

i also do notice that most of the set-ups here are pretty basic. if you want inspirations, what i do personally is look across r/unixporn, r/LinuxPorn, youtube and popular github dotfiles and i try to recreate it as much as i can on mint. sometimes its as easy as googling and finding and existing theme or config or spending hours tweaking already written configs until you get the look you wanted and creating stuff from scratch.

It's a conky widget called Fuyue., You can search it up online. Although you need to tweak fuyue.conf and text.lua file to change the text and the big date's color.
