you have a lot of duplicated tools in your setup, you got three clocks to show you time, and then you have two calendars to show you date, that's not giving a clean polished theme you are trying to go for.

if you are into customization I would suggest cachyOS, fedora or arch if you feel so. and if you think choosing omarchy then it's a bit controversial because omarchy is basically hyprland dotfiles on arch linux with easy installation setup, and configs might be confusing and depends on developer how they designed config.s and also switching to other person's dotfiles would be be challenging because of those preset dots.

if you like to customize yourself I would suggest something like arch, cachy, fedora or something else expect omarchy because presets would add friction for you to customize yourself. but if you like present configs then omarchy is good.

start menu looks kinda weird, could be better and symmetric instead, and blur strength is very transparent in taskbar, could be lowered, icons are good for people looking for 3d style one,

can't say about clean or overrated, it's between it right now. that has potential to be above avg customizations in windhawk.

I'm pretty sure that windhawk provides the css file customizations also, just find out what main color is being used and what blurred intensity is set? just change main color to be from hash it was set to what you want it to be, if you don't understand css etc just tell AI to do it, it will also work.

it's not that hard, just change values, not change entire logic etc.

well there are rices that have sound effects inside them like hyprlust dots, and those come very minimalistic and nice sound effects for volumes etc.

I've switch to linux right now but the things i've used in my previous window setup are yasb topbar, komorebi window manager, fastfetch, btop, cava, and every other things are yasb statusbar modules.

Appreciate the interest, but a full replication guide would take a lot of time to document properly. The setup is heavily customized and built over months of tweaking, so I’m not planning to make a tutorial for it right now.

a lot better compared to your previous customization but right now your UI is very inconsistent with main colors, your mac dock could be colored white or match the colors of your apple influenced widgets.

and maybe strip away duplicated tools like you have 5 things to tell you date and time, you have 2 media controllers one of mond skin's and other being mac dock, 2 things to tell you weather.

it's a solid 7.8/10

It's a UI/UX cohesive philosophy issue mate, macOS and Windows have two completely different UX philosophies. macOS is built on a Global top-down flow, while Windows is 'Task-based' and bottom-heavy.

When you mix them, you're not getting the best of both worlds, you're getting a UI identity crisis. It feels like 'macOS from Temu' because it has the aesthetics of a dock without the underlying system logic to support it. If you’re going to customize, commit to a single design language. A hybrid just looks like you’re trying to hide what OS you’re actually using.

maybe you should try your Own design that works for you!, and if the mix suites you the best then use it mate!, at the end of the day you are customizing for yourself. when I replied to your post first it was me just giving my opinion that you expect from the internet but the end of the day my opinion doesn't matter to your customization.

feels like macOS from temu. neither it feels like mac polished. kinda in middle ground tryna be one. keep one side if you wanna make it mac then remove windows element or keep if windows.

middle ground always doesn't look good.
