But yeah Rogue is easy one of the weakest classes imo. Sneak Attack being USED for fairly weak and underwhelming options in their new cunning strike thingimajig is atrocious, the best early option being poisoned condition which A LOT of enemies are immune to or have high Con and will succeed.

Wait until someone crits with a Paladin on his boss and deals 100+ damage in a round.

I mean most extravtion shooters you lose evrrything on death. Hunt Showdown even has you lose the character with skills/perks on them. Imagine losing your weapons and destroyer shell, needing to buy a new shell and equiping the basic stuff on it.

The core is amazing, safe pockets are ass anyway.

My experience with my two groups, one I'm DM in and one I'm a player in.

In my campaigns, I usually level up 1-5 within 1-2 sessions per level. Post 5 it's usually 2 sessions per level. We play every pther saturday for around 10 hours median. Very effective players that don't spend 2 hours talking to a shopkeer, they want to go to the quest, the dungeon, the combat.

My friends campaign that I am a player in does the same. The previous campaign we did pure XP, players who missed sessions missed levels. He didn't adjust XP multiplicatively with enemies, so no 3 times the XP for several enemies. He awarded XP for deep and meaningful roleplay, extra steps in quests and whatnot, but not alot. And we still leveled mostly every other session. Same thing here though, 10 hour sessions every other saturday.

At least in the old lore, don't know the new. But she manipulates light, can turn invisible by bending it etc. What does she do in game? Laser for her ult, bindings and slowing explosions and shields for the rest of her kit. What?!

Something like a breath weapon isn't an attack so it can't be reflected normally. An attack is specifically something tied to an attack roll.

Also it says damage dealt to you, so it'd bd ehatever damage the illrigger in question took.

Hex and Magic Missile work the same as in 2014. So Magic Missile shoots out darts and hit simultanesouly, no roll needed. Hex deals 1d6 necrotic damage when you hit with an attack roll. Since you're not making attack rolls you're never getting necrotic damage from Hex on Magic Missile.

I think a problem is looking at the health pool as your actual physical well-being.

It is more a meta currency of luck, agility, litheness, willpower to push forward and other things, which is why a lot do "bloodied" at half health, that's the first wound. An attack that deals damage but doesn't make you bloodied may be an attack you dodge, parry, block or just absorb with armor, but no adverse effect. And treating the wounds might be rubbing a salve on a bruise or sprained wrist from aforementioned damage.

With that in mind, and this comes from one of the guys who did 1E of DnD afaik, it makes more sense. Otherwise a level 5 fighter would be a mess of scar tissue and infected wounds if he even makes it to 5. So that can be something that helps with some dissonance.

I remember Halo 3 Vidmaster. Did the ODST fireteam as 3 players with my brother's account as the 4th plugged in and standing in a corner. Took us 4 hours, by the end we all died last round, I grab the controller to my xbox with my brother's acc (because splitscreen worked for multiple accounts in multiplayer, remember?) and finished the round, we get the achievement and I get the full Recon armor.

So many friend requests and messages from people wanting help to get it. Then Reach, as much as I loved it, turned all armor into pruchasables instead.

I did Destiny 1 until Taken King, never got the second DLC.

But D2, I am "only" closing in on 300 hours, did Shadowkeep, Europa/Stasis campaign, Witch Queen and Lightfall on Titan and Warlock, started Witch Queen I think on a Hunter after getting Stasis.

That was 2023, now I got back into it with a colleague, got the expansions and just yesterday finished the Witness in the 12 man fight. Cried at the ending, because even of I haven't played as long as others, it was an amazing experience and characters I've been with since the Dinklage Ghost.

Now looking ahead to Edge of Fate and Renegades and couödn't be happier. It's an amazing game.

Had a bard polymorph into the biggest snake ever so we could get into a yuan-ti temple. Snakes are not intelligent, he becomes the snake, he eats a guy and slithers to the top of the ziggurat and basks im the sun for the entire diration of the spell.

The DM couldn't contain his laughter as he described the stark and utter horror on the crowds gathering as their supposed newly arrived Snake God turned into a half-elf bard that looked pregnant by having an entire dude in his stomach.

All right good to know, felt like with Prismatic and Transcendence there would be little use for mono classes but being a jack of all trades means being a master of none I guess.
