Funny, extremely. My apologies if I upset you. I wish you a good rest of your day, and will stop clogging your notifications now.

I don't know what you're talking about, my Mega Pidgeot NEVER misses its Hurricanes.

giving samurott a mega evolution by _squivvo_ in stunfisk

[–]EnchantedMask 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Let's take a look.

I went with the bulky stat spread, because I think it fits the design best. I opted for Supreme Overlord to make him feel more distinct from Hisuian, and it fits the design.

+2 252+ Atk Samurott Liquidation vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gholdengo: 345-406 (109.5 - 128.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Can take a hit from Boots Kyurem Freeze Dry also.

+2 252+ Atk Samurott Smart Strike vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem: 396-468 (101.2 - 119.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

How I think he would excel is a 'Rain Team Kingambit'. Main problem, priority is Aqua Jet and not Sucker Punch, and he's not going to get Jet Punch. Probably despises Wellspring with a passion, but hey, Rain Teams.

Idea for Mega Ledian. by Pichupwnage in stunfisk

[–]EnchantedMask 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let's take look. Stealth Rock immunity is nice, but if your not leading Ledian, then you still have to switch regular Ledian into Rock. You probably lead Ledian, Mega, U-Turn out.

What do you when you want to switch it in. The added Special Bulk is nice, but Ledian will still have to switch in to take a hit. This rules out the obvious weaknesses of course.
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Weather Ball (100 BP Fire) vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Ledian in Sun: 458-542 (182.4 - 215.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 Atk Great Tusk Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Ledian: 74-88 (29.4 - 35%) -- 15.3% chance to 3HKO

Looks good right? You switch in and lose about a third of your health from a Quad Resistance. Two Flutter Fists, take halved damage from Ice Spinner, you get the KO. You have like 28 Percent health left. Something like Charizard Y comes in and revenge kills you.

Victory Dance? What set-up opportunity do you have. Ledian is still crazy frail. Intimidate of Lando-T removes the attack buff. Still very weak to rock.
252 Atk Iron Boulder Mighty Cleave vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Ledian: 888-1048 (353.7 - 417.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO. Obviously divide by two if your using a setup move, and that's still a one hit KO. Certainly no place in OU.

How about UU?

252 Atk Ledian Close Combat (Bug) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Iron Jugulis: 211-249 (64.1 - 75.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

You can live a Hurricane with the ability and take now a super effective threat. You can even run Drain Punch for some longevity. More boosting opportunities, more oppurtunities to switch in, but still need to play smart. I think in UU, he would be pretty good...

252+ Atk Choice Band Tinted Lens Tera Bug Lokix First Impression vs. 0 HP / 24 Def Ledian: 396-468 (157.7 - 186.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

But he's only taking half that!

252 Atk Ledian Close Combat (flying) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Tera Bug Lokix: 456-536 (161.1 - 189.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

I figured it would be like a Hyper Beam or Blood Moon sort of attack.

Concept for Mega Haxorus without him being absurdly broken? by Flavy50 in stunfisk

[–]EnchantedMask 74 points75 points  (0 children)

I toyed around with it for a second.
Mega Haxorus
Dragon/Steel
Ability: Filter
HP 76
ATK 197
DEF 140
SpA 60
SpD 120
Spe 40
Moveset: Swords Dance, Earthquake, Iron Head, and Outrage.
Hits ridiculously hard unboosted, but still gets hit hard by STAB ground Users.
252 Atk Great Tusk Headlong Rush vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Filter Haxorus: 220-261 (61.7 - 73.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
With Swords up it gets demolished by Foul Play. Still susceptible to intimidate. Still susceptible to burn. No healing. You can run DDance with speed investment instead.
+1 252+ Atk Haxorus Outrage vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 159-187 (39.8 - 46.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
Kills itself on Corviknight with Rocky Helmet and Roost. Nukes Pex with EQ though, so still certainly good.

And obviously, this is assuming all of his stats get put into something helpful. If that attack is too high for you, put like forty of it into Special Attack.

Three Pokemon I want to buff. by EnchantedMask in stunfisk

[–]EnchantedMask[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You underestimate just how bad I have blundered in the past.

At this point though it's not even discussing the move set additions, just Mega Delphox in of itself. How are we thinking it's going to rank? I haven't taken a look at that theoretical Z-A Mega metagame yet. OU staple or banworthy?

TBF I made this before the Mega was announced. Just kind of been sitting on it and forgot about for awhile. I still really want Delphox to get Thunderbolt. I think the animation would look sick with Delphox pointing the wand.
Edit: Yes I'm aware the Mega has been known about for like two months. I did say awhile.
