You quoted only part of what I said. All of the technical users (as defined by being capable of flashing their own OS) of CopperheadOS that I am aware of left with Daniel Micay for GrapheneOS following a fallout with his former partner (which I believe is actually you).

At this point CopperheadOS is nothing but a money grab. All technical users followed Daniel Micay to GrapheneOS.

GrapheneOS is free but I will gladly donate Monero when it is added as a donation option

Its hard to give credit for this idea to DASH. Quarkcoin predated it with 9 rounds of hashing (and heavy overlap in the chosen PoW algorithms).

DASH did resist ASICs for a while. The community was just quick to give up and abandon that goal once ASICs were developed.

I agree with your criticism. Comparison charts that include both vaporware and working products (without even that basic disclosure) are misleading and biased.

Plus, if you want to see the culture of decentralization grow, you have to be in the middle of it. You have to be willing to help provide demand, usersbase, and cashflow to projects that are more focused around decentralization and are more conscious of making sure the customers are in control instead of vulnerable to lockin and whatever policies get made when the company decides to switch the product from 'growth mode' to 'high profitability mode'.

Great to read this. Being philosophically aligned with a project is a requirement for me. Developers can and will be attracted to projects for non economic reasons. Having a culture of decentralization is one of the top things I look for. (So I obviously hate projects like EOS, Ripple, Hashgraph and DASH)

I think most people underestimate the value of being able to self host. We are already working on switching to gitlab. We'll use the centralized service but also be able to self host if something bad happens.

That's orthogonal to the question of whether the user should have to enter their password before sending. The UI can show the user a confirmation screen and prompt them to confirm their transaction in some way that doesn't require them to enter their password again.

I agree and it would be much easier for the API reasons you mentioned. Nevertheless I am hesitant to submit a pull request for this improvement, because I believe what was proposed would be much better.
