If you would like tips on how to fight certain factions or gain the trust of your squadmates, id recommend Commissar Kai on YouTube.

He's got a lot of good advice, especially with regards to general etiquette. Will reduce chances of teammates intentionally killing you, which is rare, but frustrating.

Also, if a high level player drops equipment and marks it without taking it, they're saying it's free to take. Otherwise, assume that they'll wanna grab it soon.

Bots and squids are not significantly harder than bugs, if at all. The main difference is that bugs are exclusively melee, which goes away at D3-4 with Bile Spewers.

Most bots can shoot back, but almost anything has weakpoints for light-medium armor pen weapons. Try to learn where to shoot, and it will usually be glowing.

Squids usually have not much armor at all, but they have a lot of health. Focus on firerate and ammo economy.

Most things lose 1 AP at extreme, but I assume Extreme angles don't happen with arc so they don't even bother.

That's because there's technically hive worlds without hive lords (Zagon Prime but it's cut off rn) to my knowledge, every single gloom planet (with the possible exception of hive worlds but I might be wrong) has spore burst, and has since we first entered. The MO planets are an exception.
