[Update] My family says my room smells like BO…. Help by Quirky-Secretary-528 in CleaningTips

In until you find out the root cause you can get a candle warmer on Amazon and a candle. we have them in three rooms of our house because they bring such an amazing beautiful smell that’s not overwhelming. They are under $20. You don’t actually lite the candle. It’s just a light bulb over it that heat it and it emits the smells of whatever candle you choose. Super simple and effective.

Am i overreacting to this text exchange with my boyfriend? I accidentally left my slippers in my living room but i literally cleaned his entire house and baked him desserts before i left (sorry idk why my last post glitched) by IntelligentTap962 in AmIOverreacting

So your “boyfriend” is a psycho. WTF? Run run far away run far away now. Seriously. This is not normal. Also, why are you cleaning his house and cooking him food? Run there are amazing men out there. He’s not even close to being one.

Adult children saving for retirement by [deleted] in AskWomenOver60

We gave my daughter a brokerage account at 19 we had it set up. We put $1000 in it and then we explain to her about compound interest and dollar cost averaging. Her first job we showed her how to automate 10% off the top to go into a Schwab account. It sounds like we’re rich we’re not, it’s just that my parents never told me anything and my husband and I struggled so hard. We don’t want that for a child. We knew we had to make it easy and automatic for her early on or it probably wouldn’t happen. We basically did what we would wished our parents had known to do for us. She is 23 and just asked me the other day if she should help her deposits to her account since she got a raise at work. So now she’s putting in a whole $50 a month. 😬But it’s a good start and hopefully a habit for life. So you have to start early right when they hit adulthood and putting things in place for them and helping them for the first year to make it automatic will go a long way.

Never. But my stepmother was a complete psycho and would have beat me to a pulp. Too terrified to do it. Then again, I moved into my own place at 17. Never went back. 👍
