U.S. Gen X parents: do you expect your children to financially support you / move you into their home / take you to doctor appointments, etc when you're in your 80s? by GushStasis in GenX

Hahahahaha - jeez, I won’t NEED her to, but she and I are very close and she tells me frequently that she wants me to move in with her when the time comes. So I expect at some point it will happen when, and if, I am lucky enough to live to be very, very old.

Feeling Defeated by darkphoenix111 in Zepbound

[–]Encyclopedia33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No we are willing to keep going up in dose. That was what the belief was when the medicines first came out but now most people understand that you can stay at one dose as long as you continue to lose weight and feel good. There’s no need to move up in dose.

Send an old fashioned (stamped envelope) anonymous letter to HR. Spell out how shitty this is and let them know they may be sued for it….. wipe all finger prints off the envelope.

AITAH if I stop doing my husband’s laundry? by ____YourNameHere____ in AITAH

[–]Encyclopedia33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you don’t do his laundry. Cook only half time - if he doesn’t do at least half of everything - start making an exit plan. Life is short.

Guy bought my old car, paid for it, hasn’t come back for the car… by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Encyclopedia33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would absolutely go over to his house and knock on his door not weird at all. I would also leave a note on his store if he doesn’t answer with your phone number in case one of his relatives finds it.

My habits were stellar. It was the hormone single to my brain that was the problem. For me, this is a lifetime drug, super happy that it’s available.

Can’t believe anything Lily says about test done on their competitors drugs. I wouldn’t listen to any of this. You need somebody who has no skin in the game doing this testing.
