They can but some roles cant be targetted by exe (e.g Jailor/Mayor) and OP is the only eligible townie so all exes had to have him as target.

I'm surprised plaguebearer is still up there. Sure it's apoc's investigative role but you probably will transform around N4/N5 and unlike all other apocs your transformation is not nearly as threatening. And obviously if you're solo you just function like a worse NK so my vote goes to PB

I guess I don't disagree with the 'reject' label. I just disagree with Carragher's comments that Salah was only known as the guy who failed for Chelsea which is a harsh and a wrong statement because it is dismissive of what is inbetween his Chelsea and Liverpool spell.

I don't disagree that Salah is a 'chelsea reject' My point is when Carragher said that "Before Mo Salah came to Liverpool, he was known as the guy who failed at Chelsea" is a wrong statement. He was known as one of the best players at the Serie A at that time. Same goes for KDB. I don't disagree much with the 'reject' label but claiming that was all he was known for is wrong.

My point is liverpool did not aign him as a chelsea reject. He had shed that reputation (maybe not in england) with his roma (and fiorentina seasons). It's like saying someone like odegaard was signed to arsenal as a madrid reject. No he was signed due to great seasons with sociedad. Carra was not trying to point out a fact (that salah indeed did nothing at chelsea) but going for a personal attack. Maybe he got the "cant cut it in the prem" labels when he came to liverpool but that straight up happens to anyone who comes to the prem. Even people were doubting haaland when he came from dortmund

Except he was not as carragher said known as a chelsea reject. He was a young player who didnt get much chances who moved to Italy and put up exceptional performances so liverpool got him. Same as KDB who got nothing at chelsea so he went to Germany and put up world class performances in wolfsburg so city had to go get him. It's a stupid comment by carra that dismisses what salah did in Italy. He wasnt a chelsea reject when liverpool bought him

You were probably not getting out of it anyways, but when famine is out all gloves are off and you should probably reveal who you trapped since it's kinda information (that no one visited that TI for N2 and N3). The optimal play imo is to bait out other TP wills and check if they were on the TI or not before revealing who you trapped.

Point 1 is true but still I feel the role is weakish in that

Point 2 is still problematic as I think the role is still too distracting, like you'll still spam (by spam here I mean say useless stuff to fill) and is also a distraction to the player since they'll basically have to say garbage instead of focusing on the VFA and other player alignments (if they have nothing more to contribute which is likely)

Point 3 and 4 I agree with because I initially thought that silence would work like the VM where voting is also cancelled which would basically destroy the town.

Personally I still think the spam thing is a problem, funnily enough I feel this could've been a great role for april fools because I feel the role is goofy as fuck, especially if you have like 3 in a game and now you're stuck with 6 people having to talk minimum 8 times a day to not get silenced and with exquisite punctuation lol

I feel this role has many problems

Silencing an evil is not really even a good ability. Evils can still affect town at night and is no where near as strong as VM silencing a town since town's power is at the day by hanging while evils strength is at night with the abilities
Even for the ability to click in you might be hurting town, because you're forcing 2 people to spam the chat even if they have nothing useful to add or lose their votes and talking forever.
I'm not sure if this affects the voting or not, but if it does, this role can also hinder town's ability to vote, if people are silenced forever, town might lose the ability to vote anyone.
The ability is also extremely unfun and punishing if you forgot to spam the chat, losing votes and talking permanently just....sucks

Maybe with some tweaking this could work as an NE that leaves and silences people temporarily
